A very nice restaurant in the heart of Hemel Hempstead. I went on a Tuesday evening and they had their gourmet menu. Any starter, any main dish and either rice or nan. They also let you choose any rice which some restaurants gourmet don't allow. My only concern would be that my chicken tikka puree hardly had any chicken in it. But otherwise the overall meal was good and value for money.

Finally found a good local Indian! I’ve tried quite a few and this is the best so far. Had a takeaway and although it was a long wait, it was worth it. Good portion sizes I think I have enough for 3 nights! I’m vegetarian and they have many veg options unlike other places. They also listened to my comment of ‘mild’. I recommend and will dine in at some point.

Excellent food and service. Great value from the Monday night special meal deal. The staff were great with my daughters and made them feel very welcome. The chicken dhansak and Naan breads were particularly good. Thanks!Food: 5/5

Very very good. Why am I only now finding out about this place?!   A hidden gem. The interior is very well done.   The service is excellent, the personal service by owner is excellent.  The food is very good and well presented.  I'll be back.

Interesting curries such as the Vindaloo that got my taste buds tingling and dancing. The vindaloo was the highlight of my night, a rave of rich curry with chicken that was lip smacking  I knew I enjoyed the dhansak when every bite became addictive, these naans went perfect with it, such a wholesome meal that got me feeling nice and cosy, not too much heat in the Dhansak yet comes packed with robust flavours  I suggest Vindaloo for the spice lovers, it is necessary to order. I suggest Dhansak with Naan to ALL.  Chicken Tikka Biryaani was lovely too and that goes well with any curry.  I recommend this restaurant FOR SURE, my family all enjoyed it and would love to go visit and dine in next time round!

Ate dinner at olive today and it was quite nice!!  The workers were welcoming and sweet especially Ahmed he was very kind. The food was served hot and is delicious. I will definitely have a second visit .

First time using this restaurant. Honestly the best Indian food I've had in years. The madras was perfect as were the king prawns all the starters. Great service, lovely people. I can't recommend them enough!Food: 5/5

Excellent service Perfectly clean Great value Fantastic food  Not much else to say, this is as good as it gets, really is a 10/10!  PS. I eat a lot of Indian so I know what is good. Well done.

Outstanding The mixed platter was divine, lovely and generous chutney platter with papadums, and there are numerous unusual dishes alongside a comprehensive range of Indian regulars. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Look forward to my next visit.
