Great quite little village. Just the type of place to get away from it all. Room & view great but having trouble with the English food. A bit to heavy.

Very friendly atmosphere but regards catering for a party of 20, which we were, we were kept waiting nearly an hour late, being asked to sit down for our meal. We had pre ordered all meals in advance, (2 weeks before). One main course never turned up until after everyone had finished. We were told an error had been made. The vegetables were barely warm, although the dish itself was too hot to hold without a cloth. (As if they had been microwaved and some dishes heat up to extremes without actually heating the food). This was brought to the attention of the manager, who was actually waiting on us himself. There wasn't enough vegetables to accommodate all guests and we had to ask for more, which we waited far too long for. Then when the sweets were served, another guest was left waiting for theirs until everyone else had eaten theirs. The person who organised the booking, was asked on two occasions, for the main course and the sweet course, for the list of what was ordered, even though he had been given a list two weeks previous. He didn't know on the night what he was supposed to be preparing and serving. The organisation of the whole experience was completely lacking and considering the person organising this party had been organising it for approximately 4-5 months, it was all very disappointing, to say the least and embarrassing for the organiser who had done their very best to make sure everything went to plan and run smoothly but was let down by the service of the establishment.
