Island Green Shopping Park

Island Green is a lovely shopping area. I think maintenance let's it down badly. There is always litter and dropped food on the floor. People do not appreciate what the have. There are bin sites around but they like to drop their rubbish on the floor. There are toilets in Asda George and no seating anywhere on the site. People would appreciate a sit down whilst going around the area, either for the elderly or even adults with children. From the car parking situation it is excellent. There is a good variety of shops and will be even better when the old TKMax store is in use.

A large shopping precinct with all the high street stores that used to be in the town centre. It's not too far out of the way. Local buses do not serve this shopping centre. It's about a 10 min, brisk walk from town centre bus station. Parking is underground, convenient and there is a charge. There are several floors and each are served by two lifts. They are wheelchair friendly, as are all the shops.

Not the best, some good shops however no free parking which is a let down and no free parking close by so can be pain to get to , also no free parking from the Argos. If you click and collect from here you have to pay parking or risk a fine

There is something for eveyrone here. Argos, Heron foods, Iceland, Maplins, Poundland, Dog'n'bone (Mobile phone repairs and console games), Trespass (Camping equipment and clothing), Costa Coffee, Carphone Warehouse, Wilkinsons and 1 more place but I forget the name. I think they sell kitchens and bathrooms?

It's good all round as its got most of the shops with things you need in the house and the bonus is that it has Argos as well.
