REALLY NICE PLACE and AWESOME FOOD!!! The host even wears an authentic outfit to add to the awesomeness of the place and is a really warm and friendly guy! I wish they had an option for 'mild' food. I don't eat spicy food and even I loved it!! ...but you cant ask for everything I suppose. Keep it up PLANET INDIA - will definitely be back :
Great authentic Indian food. Loved the thali Tali no.1 of North Indian cuisine. Loved the paneer, Dahl and bread. I would love a popa too! Not bothered about the dessert... Maybe skip that for a chai tea :
Delicious Gujarati dishes! Loved the very, very spicy black chickpea curry and refreshing Limca. Definitely worth a good few visits to try everything on the menu.
The pani puris were really lovely as was the house red. The venue is decorated nicely and feels homely however the main food is FAR too spicy. There was no indication that it would be that hot. I can handle heat but this was too much, I couldn't finish the food. this was the pea paneer and also the spinach paneer curries.
The best Indian food I've had in Britain! I thought my travels through India had ruined me for Indian food as nothing back in the UK came close to the real thing generally adapted for the English pallet I guess but this was so tasty! Fresh ingredients and wonderful flavours! Highly recommended! I do eat meat normally but I did not miss it as everything was so delicious! Even the wine was organic. This place is obviously very mindful but not in your face about it. Comfortable, authentic surroundings. Great for a large group or an intimate meal for two. Get yourselves down there! It's a real hidden gem of Hove.
I really love eating here. Always a wonderful warm welcome and prompt friendly service. It's all vegetarian and fantastic. Plenty to choose from and absolutely delicious. Great choice of wines and beers with great descriptions. Everything is served hot and certainly at the right pace. Highly recommend eating here and such warm friendly wonderful service.
Delightfully decorated authentic Indian restaurant with unique twist on classic dishes. They accommodated a late request for dinner reservation while we were on holiday and we were very impressed with their signature menu and impeccable service. Had a great time as family and hung out late into the night, complete with beach side walk on the promenade. Fantastic location and awesome experience!
Love this place! Authentic Indian dishes. Amazing delicious flavours. Good service, great value for money. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Highly recommended. Book at busy times to ensure a seat!
Amazing place. Went here for a lovely meal as I am vegetarian but my boyfriend isn't. However, he thoroughly enjoyed it as well as myself. Lots of different dishes - vegan friendly too. Very relaxing atmosphere - great customer service - very reasonable price and delicious food. Thank you
Ive always loved Indian cuisine so I knew I was in for an absolute treat! I've tried a few dishes before but I wanted to be adventurous and the Thali was just perfect. My partner is new to the Indian cuisine scene so it was a great choice to start immersing. The decor and setting is quaint and lovely. Set in a reimagined Georgian Mansion this is a totally unique venue this is an absolute must-see.
