I've been going since I was 2 and its amazing! My mum was good friends with the previous owner. I went recently when it was my birthday and they nicely put up balloons and banners. You can also take a cake in if you want to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary and they'll bring it out for you. The food is just delicious and it takes me ages to order because everything tastes so good! I highly recommend it.
Went last Tuesday with friends from work. We all had a starter and every one really enjoyed them including the calamari rings, which tasted fresh and flavoursome and the Red Hot Mamas deep fried jalapeno. We were nicely filled, but then came the mains, big pizzas plenty to munch on, we were stuffed. I had opted for half a pizza with salad, which I think was a good choice as I managed to eat all of mine. Well worth a look.
5 stars for an Italian with a full vegan menu alongside regular options including starters and desserts with pizza and pasta making use of vegan cheeses and with plenty of imagination. A real surprise for a place more known in the past for being cheap and cheerful. Also offers vegan wines and beers.
The place has gone down hill since the place changed hands, the Coke they served me was nearly flat, it was out one of those share bottles. The pizza base was burnt in places and chewy, particularly the crusts. It tasted like old dough. It's a great restaurant if they can get it back to the way it used to be.
Very nice food. Not too nice inside but at least they made the effort. I didn't appreciate the way the waitress tried to correct the way I pronounced jalepenos when she actually got it wrong. I said halepenos and she corrected me with jalapenos. Nope.
Really friendly and a quaint little place. The food tasted good. No massive wow factor but you don't pay a lot for a decent meal and friendly service
