Pizza East

Great place. Went for lunch, service was good, food was delicious! The salami pizza we ordered could have had more cheese but other than that it was great. The macaroni cheese was perfection, nothing more to be said along with the lamb meatballs which were really nicely seasoned in a delicious sauce. To top it off there is a good selection of beer and the staff we’re friendly and attentive. So all in all would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place. I had never been here before and was taken there as a surprise. They wasn't too busy at 1 on a Saturday and the atmosphere was really great that we ended up staying there for hours eating and drinking! They have healthy juices, amazing pizzas and also starters. We got king prawns and scallops and they were amazing! We then got pizzas and lasagne. The portions were a good size. I've never been to a pizza place that tasted so good, and also we didn't come away feeling like we ate a bunch of grease. Food was made so well and the service was great. I would recommend for friends and family.

The restaurant is probably more famous for it's great location than their pizzas. The restaurant interior is good, has intimate social vibe, however the pizzas are less inspiring. The truffle paste topping consists of a few blob of the wet paste and nothing else interesting, and the pepperoni one was just a layer of salt. And the pizza dough is about as good as Domino's. They should move and let a better pizza maker to make use of the great location.

I think this may be the best pizzeria I have ever been to. I can say that with confidence as my experience there is exceptional every time I go. Perfect for an intimate date or a group affair. Amazing buzz in the restaurant at all times with extremely professional staff. An odd thing, the toilets are incredible too! :) Their wine selection is first class with great pairings to go with your food. I must visit for someone going to Shoreditch.

I visited with my daughter after a long day visiting Uni halls. We didn't book yet staff found us a table immediately even tho it was busy. Good but not exceptional pizza, plenty of choice on the menu. A couple of nice ales and great wine selection. Lovely old building, vibrant and lively. 12.5% service charge added automatically to the bill. Return visit certainly not ruled out.
