We had an amazing brunch at Dishoom today for my friends birthday. Having only previously visited for dinner we were not sure what to expect on a morning visit. It surpassed my expectations, the atmosphere was vibrant and we had a lovely light table by the window. The food was incredible, so much more than your standard eggs and bacon. My friends baby was well cared for and staff were happy to see her. Our waitress was very friendly and so patient with our menu questions! We will definitely be returning!

So booked in to celebrate my daughters bday this Sunday , service was very good, top notch Id say , as the restaurant was rammed to the brim. However our fast food Indian came quick as a flash , i thought a lot of it was over cooked if not close to burnt , but the kids liked it .nThey even came out with a small desert cake for my Daughter, which was a nice touch , if they didn't ADD it , or slipped it on the bill, £8.90, am not keen on crafty tricks, cant say I'll be back anytime soon . Once a year if a good enough treat at 180 a pop, inc 20 tip.

I don’t visit Shoreditch often, but as expected, the prices are high. The food was fine, though I’ve had much more flavorful curries in Whitechapel for a quarter of the cost.nThe tables were packed so close together that I had to squeeze past a neighbour just to reach my seat. On a positive note, the service was friendly and attentive. Would I go again? Probably not.

I felt so special here! Came for dinner and breakfast and I had an amazing time each visit. The staff is insanely personable & they’re always willing to help you better understand the menu. This place is worth all the hype it gets, I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit the UK.

I have had a problem with Indian food in the recent years. I was missing a reference point, great food wholeheartedly enjoyed. Worth remembering for the future to compare this to other places. Finally I found that place and it was Dishoom  Shoreditch. Amazing food, full of flavors and surprises, food where you think that you order too much of and then it turns out that it is so good that you have to finish it no matter what. Be prepared for a long wait for a table, but it is worth doing it. The wait time is sweetened - you wait at a bar serving very good  drinks. Once you are seated the food arrives quickly and is amazingly good. So for now I got my reference point for Indian food. Thanks Dashoom.
