Visited the Shoreditch franchise today and it was nothing but the best! The staff is unbelievably friendly yet professional. Can’t expect this in heart of London anywhere nowadays. Sat in the Veranda section which is outside the main wing of the restaurant and the ambience is next level. Comfy sofas with low table or choices of high table as per own choice. Food is excellent and service is prompt. Kids friendly and wheelchair accessible. Would definitely recommend Serene who is the host supervisor who plays an inevitable part in running the busy operation so smoothly.
Lovely and very knowledgeable staff. A very large menu to choose from with a lot of detail both for food and drinks. The interior has such a great vibe. You can tell a lot of attention and effort went into creating the atmosphere. All staff were super lovely and the manager came around to each table which was a lovely attentive touch. The food itself was great. It was my first time eating at dishoom and I was far from disappointed. Each dish was full of flavour. However, I found the naan to be a bit lacking. I've had better naan from local curry shops. Definitely not bad but not the best naan I've had, which is the reason for the 4 stars on food. The desserts were great, highly recommend the rice pudding! Will definitely come again.

One of our group members had a unique allergy onions and the staff worked diligently to highlight the menu items she could eat.nnAll around phenomenal time. Highly recommend for locals and travelers alike. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the staff are also happy and seem to enjoy their job which elevates the experience in my book.nnWould recommend: New Keema Pau, Lamb Biryani, Garlic Naan, Murgh Malai, and Raita
From the moment we walked in everything was perfect, the interior, the music and the overall vibe! We were transformed back in time to the origins of this beautiful cuisine.nnOur server was extremely knowledgeable and recommend some great dishes and wine, the food was simply stunning, the perfect combination of the warmth of a comforting curry but with the elegance and class of a more refined establishment.nnThe manager greeted everyone to check on how they were doing and to make sure everything was up to scratch, he was witty, charming and added the perfect missing puzzle piece to what was already a wonderful dining experience.nnAs a huge London foodie this is a must to try, I can’t wait to go back!
1 hour wait at 5:30PM on a December Friday. Excellent Indian food in a cozy and eclectic setting. You sit in cushy armchairs as you share saucy dishes across a coffee table. Such a fun place to eat among good company. We ordered the fried okra, black daal, ruby chicken, mattar paneer, lamb chops, an order of rice and multiple orders of garlic naan. They were all do delicious and full of flavours and spices. I would happily order them all over again.
