Managed to avoid the lunch crowd by arriving at around 12pm there was a long queue by the time we finished.nnLively ambience, great food and good service. The dishes were so flavourful and easy to share. While I did enjoy everything, the various curries were undoubtedly just a pinch better than the rest.
This was one of the most immaculate places I ate at in London. The food was delicious, creamy, spicy, amazing flavors.nnOur waiter was amazingly attentive and friendly too, giving great recommendations a taking care of us.nnThe absolute highlight of the meal was the dessert. Alphonso mangos on plain vanilla ice cream. It was the most scrumptious dessert I’ve ever had. You can only get it for a limited time there in the spring, so if you are there in the spring be sure to get it.nnThis review is from the spring of 2023.
Everything tasted authentic and fresh. They also do an amazing job of checking allergies.nnWe got the chili chicken. Which tasted like it was made with natural chillis. It was a little spicy, but barely.nnWe also got the ruby chicken which was very good.. basically butter chicken but better.nnThe chefs special was amazing. It tasted like Indian Italian fusion. The sauce was a sweet tomato sauce, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this.nnFor dessert we got the chocolate pudding, which was alright. The ice cream that went with it, was very good. Left a little spice flavor after eating, which was very fun to experience.
Lime leaf Collins was very tasty, good flavours, but just a touch too sweet.nnBlack daal: Complex flavour and comforting. Quite spicy for me.nnMonk fish curry: The tamarind was very prominent here. Lots of strong flavourful spices.nnMy wait as a single diner was 1 hour from lining up at 5pm Friday. Not the best meal I've had in London but it's up there.
We recently dined here and the experience was outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an ambiance that beautifully blends modern and classic touches. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and efficient. As for the food, every dish we tried was exquisite, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. From the iconic chichen ruby to the succulent prawns, every bite was a delight. It’s truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London. Highly recommended!
