Joined this surgery 6 months ago. I have so far had a great experience with the surgery. I always manage to get through on the phone. I always get an appointment in an appropriate time. Reception staff are pleasant.
Horrendous service from Dr jeena! Waited 45 mins for my appointment and it only lasted 3 minutes because she was rushing!! I've complained before and il be making sure this complaint goes further the most patronising person I've met!!
I can’t praise the Horwich practice enough. The care, support and attention I have received from reception, practice nurses, pharmacist and doctors has been first class. Even the clinics at RMI have been well organised and friendly. I have experience at another Bolton practice which always gets top reviews and Pike View exceed them in many areas. So glad we didn't just look at reviews online when choosing a practice a year ago.
Pike view medical centre has never been the same since Dr's korlipara, malhotra and mishra all retired and left, the surgery was always run well and the patients were all respected and cared for by both doctors and receptionist, Now it takes a lot for you to get an appointment and when you do finally get one you are kept waiting or past to the practice nurse, the reception staff are unhelpful and have no rapore with the local people, you hardly ever see the same doctor and are rather past to the practice nurse or offered a call from a doctor, bring back the personal touch of actually caring just like Dr's korlipara, malhotra and mishra did when they started the practice at pike view.
The receptionist are efficient warm friendly and helpful. I haven't had a bad experience yet
Happy to deal with me when it suits on my partners behalf. Done it today to cancel an appointment and Rikaya however you spell her name was so RUDE. Asked me for my partners NHS number for DPA and after speaking to another member of staff, even with that number I still wouldn't be able to cancel the appointment so RIKAYA just felt the need to be sarcastic who knows their number.... really!!! when all I wanted to do was cancel his appointment but 2 weeks prior I was allowed with his date of birth. I have never in my life had to deal with such disgust! Marie Brian, sort your staff out!!!
5 stars for Zoeb and the other doctors I have seen and spoken to! Amy on reception is always lovely as are a couple of the other receptionists. I won’t name and shame but if you record your calls it would certainly be worth listening back to one receptionist in particulars lack of care and empathy... if she doesn’t like people, I’m pretty sure there’s jobs going in a stock room elsewhere where she can be miserable and rude on her own - horrible woman!
One star is frankly too many. The most unprofessional and unqualified medical practitioners I have ever encountered. More disturbing still, is the fact that the Practice refuse to even listen to genuine concerns or remember that they are seeing human beings at their most vulnerable. Any patients would be in far better hands with the local vets.
Great GP the reviews which are given are unfair,the staff are great.The system that is in place for the GP are brilliant as it gives patients the chance to see a doctor Asp or if you can’t make it they give you late time.The doctors are really friendly and helpful to resolve the health issue as soon as possible. Iv been their patient for almost 9 years.
Absolute shambles the staff are a disgrace no help what so over put a prescription in over a month ago for my daughter's milk and they still haven't authorised it so now when she has run out we have had to go round every chemist with an emergency prescription to get 1 tub of milk and the cheecky old hag behind the counter had the audacity to say "order it better next time"!!!
