My recent experiences have been excellent. The online triage form seems to have brought down wait times, my results have returned quickly and the staff have been nothing but helpful. Whilst the NHS is in a mess, it seems that you are doing all you can to ease the issues.
A massive thank you to Susan at reception. Always helping people. Always treated me with top class service. Unfortunately the five star is only for her professional service. The NHS is in a bloody mess. But thank you Susan for your help.
I have been a patient at Blackrod Health Centre for 25 years. Luckily I don’t go very often but yesterday I rang for an appointment, I waited 25 minutes for the phone to be answered just to be told that I couldn’t have an appointment because I had been deleted from the system. I asked why had I been deleted and I was told that they didn’t know and they couldn’t get access to my details because they had been deleted. I asked what I should do and I was told that I had to go online and register as a new patient. I have registered as a new patient…somewhere else.
Whilst waiting for 35mins for a booked appointment a gentleman man came in for a repeat prescription he told the lady behind the desk he couldnt read /write she told him to fill out his form he has to do it, poor man sat there trying to figure out what to do couldn't even write his own name, I helped him myself he had even asked for help on arrival absolutely shocking! I'm not very good myself at spelling & writing but between the two of us we did itnnThink more disability awareness training needs to be done
Absolutely disgusting place, my 87 year old grandma came in as she was passing the building with signs of a stroke, and absolutely nothing was done for her, not even offered to ring an ambulance for her. Zero care for health at all, just a group of power hungry receptionist and cowardly GP’s who stealing a living!!
