Went out for lunch today to Pier one, in Frinton on Sea was a bit dubious as though I had heard they do gluten free fish and chips, other places I have been that advertise that (except Cafe 19 which are fabulous for gluten free), I have been ill within half an hour of eating. Anyway I risked it and my cod in batter with chips tartare sauce and my first ever mushy peas was heaven on the plate. In fact the portion was huge and I couldn’t finish it all and neither could my 7 year old though he had a children’s portion, that to be honest looked nearly as big as mine. The service was friendly and relaxed I didn’t feel rushed even though there were approx 30 other diners in there. On the plus side I haven’t been ill (which is always a worry for me when eating anywhere that say they are gluten free)!! I will definitely be eating there again!

Just a small haddock & chips as you can see! Absolutely perfect all round sleek and class place to eat staff were amazing and amazing value for money well worth the visit no matter where you come from !

Takeaway is relatively expensive, but the food is delicious and fresh. Friendly staff too. Recommended.

Simply the best fish restaurant in Frinton offering a wide range of locally caught fresh fish cooked to perfection. Great service, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. A wonderful place for family and friends to meet up and spend time together. Highly recommended.
