A beautifully run pub with a lovely team of staff. Free parking. Beer garden with a playground. We arrived and were told to find seating wherever we wanted, we chose inside, ordered at the bar and sat down, 10 minutes later out lovely sharer starter arrived. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. The menu catered for all of our party, including a vegetarian. The meal sizes were very generously sized and we ended up taking two boxes of food home with us. We got a good deal on the burgers as we went on a Friday Fridays deal is when you buy a burger, the second one is free. Our mains came a respectable time after we finished the starter. We had to go up to the bar to order more drinks, but there was never a que and we were served very quickly. The only problem we had with the establishment was the toilets. It was very disappointing as the rest of the restaurant was gorgeous. But the toilets were not clean, did not smell good and made us feel a bit unwell. I've still rated it 5 stars as the actual restaurant was perfect and we will be attending again we will just wait till we get home to use the loo
Friendly staff. Sufficient parking and 2 of the 3 meals were fab. Recommendation to anyone eating here is to stay away from the half roast chicken. You barely get half a chicken breast out of it and that's only if you scrape around for the brown meat. Oh...the mens loos absolutely stink!
Pub is big. Lovely big garden with plenty of seating and little park area for children. very laid back and friendly staff. It's a Hungary horse. So food is good selection, special offers each day. Won't break the bank. Lovely glass of wine here. Friendly staff. Not the Ritz but very affordable
Food looked fab our starter was amazing but our mains took nearly an hour to come out then chips were cold.
First visit since new to the area,we had the Sunday roast 4 good value and very friendly atmosphere we deffo be returning
On holiday in St Osyth this week and went here for tea on Tuesday afternoon and it was amazing. I had the chicken strips with chips and onion rings and it was delicious. Friendly staff and lovely hot food. Saw the breakfast menu, so today we went back for breakfast today after checking out from the holiday park. We weren’t disappointed, just as good. Thank you, Liam and your staff.
What a lovely place! went for a family meal on my birthday, food was bloody lovely and staff were such a laugh, very friendly. would definitely come again! definitely would recommend to those of you looking for a place to go out for an afternoon/evening meal.
7 of us ate in here 4 of us had chicken with bbq sauce cheese and bacon with chips onions rings. It was barely warm chicken didn’t have no taste I think it was boiled not a lot of sauce. Onion rings were not freshly cooked. 1 person had curry that was not even hot. Did tell them food was cold but didn’t want to wait any longer and we were hungry. Only thing that was good was it was a good portion but tasteless.
Very poor service, short of stuff, only one polite waitress with colorful hair, who was busting her legs off. I was served dessert however I couldn't get it as our dinner plates were still on the table. Never again. Waited for food 2 hours and additional hour for dessert and in those hour our dinner plates were not cleaned. Horrible experience.
Had a family meal on Friday 10th February, table booked all ready and waiting. Food was brilliant couldn't fault a thing, service was fantastic as always, and what can I say about the always happy fun manager making sure you have a brilliant time. Thank you all for the wonderful memories and laughs Tina x
