Myself and two small boys visited family in S Shields and stayed for 3 very comfortable nights.  The rooms were beautiful, clean, very well furnished and decorated and cozy warm.  The power shower was a treat and breakfasts were a pleasure in the lovely bright breakfast room.  The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel at home and most importantly very understanding of my two small little power-house sons!! Highly recommended! A real pleasure to stay here and great for all the seafront activities. Would definitely stay again. C Walker

had a great stay,rooms beautiful and comfortable and clean,manager friendly and made us feel at home,breakfast was very nice and plentiful,definitely good value for money and I would stay here when I come back to South Shields

so nice to stay in such a nice guest house. the bedrooms are very cosy and clean, with simple but nice and stylish furtniture, good size bathroom. I came to shouth shields for work and needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. the pier was definitely the right choice. I will stay there again if im in the area in the future, either for work or for leisure. Marta

Decided to pick the pier guesthouse when coming up to south shields for a course. I was on my own so didn't want to spend a fortune. I was really pleased with the pier and it was great value for money, the room was small but just what I needed, clean new bathroom with brilliant shower and tv/dvd. Breakfast was plentiful and the owner is friendly and helpful. I would definately stay there again if I'm in the area. E Jeffs
