Thus was a very good pre-theatre experience. Five of us had a table overlooking the ship canal. We arrived at 6pm and, because of the efficiency of the operation, managed three courses in good time for the play. All the dishes we ordered were very good. My beef was excellent. 10 out of 10 from us.

Ordered some food (cottage pie) to then be told there was a problem with the till and there wasn't any. So scampi and chips it had to be.. or nothing. When it came the chips and peas were cold. Scampi eatable but not very hot. Then took 50 minutes to clear plates away. All they could say was they have been busy (not) about 15 people in. For the price of the food £10 per meal... scampi chips and peas... and after complaining.. Didn't even get an apology. All they said was they would tell the chef

We had a meal before a show at the lowrey pier 8.the food was good and the staff were very pleasent and helpful.
