After a Long drive its a welcome break.

Footpaths are not easy for the old or young

Small free car park just off the A31. Nice view out over heather, bracken and gorse with a few paths if you need to stretch your legs, and a footbridge in the distance.

Good for walking in every direction, easy to get to straight off the A31 bit noisy though. Brillant views for many miles across to Bournemouth, Poole, Purbecks, Dorset and Wiltshire. Great for watching the sunset. Can get very busy though and not much parking space. Can get very messy with McDonald's nearby and people incapable of put their rubbish in the bin provided or taking it home. Popular with dog walkers and some of which are not very responsible so watch out for the dog mess everywhere.
