Piccolino in Bramhall has brought Tuscany to the town centre with the addition of a new 110 seat all-weather alfresco terrace.

As well as providing the first retractable awning in Cheshire, the new dining area also encourages year round alfresco dining with suspended heated lamps, candlelight’s and pashminas for those cooler evenings.

Piccolino serves fresh seasonal produce that reflects pure Italian flavours. Ideally situated on Moss Lane, the restaurant offers the perfect place to take a break from shopping and enjoy a relaxing drink or bite to eat with friends

With a great seasonally inspired A la carte menu, a great value quick lunch menu available daily, 12pm – 5pm and not forgetting the Sunday roast menu, there has been no better time to visit!

I hate to leave a poor review because the staff were so lovely, BUT I ordered at £35 lobster, as shown in the photo. The grey / green part is not herb butter but RAW lobster meat. OK, I was surprised a chef would send it out, but these things happen. I returned it, only to have it returned back to me one minute later to tell me it was fine! I've eaten a lot of lobster and never seen that. I had a scallop starter, which was cooked to perfection but WAY over seasoned with crunchy sea salt flakes. It ruined the dish. Then they brought me the wrong dessert and then had to be chased twice for coffee. The dessert was an ice cream and pear sundae, which comprised of two of the smallest scoops of ice cream I've ever seen and ONE 1cm x 1cm cube of pear. What kind of restaurant is run by a chef - and a poor one at that? Still cost £90 and a night ruined. Until they change the chef, I won't go back.

Would give the venue 5 stars but the food is the same standard as any other Piccolino branch, so if you have eaten at another Piccolino's and liked it then you would probably be very happy eating here, I've always found Piccolino's food quite bland. The staff can't be faulted either so this is a high 3 star review...it is just the food which I am mainly rating.

Nice restaurant and ambiance but the food is very overrated, I ordered a risotto and it was about 3 mouth fulls, I had to order more food as I was still so hungry! The service was average too but staff were lovely

Beautiful fish dishes on the night been to a few of the restaurants in the chain all excellent service and food
