Always happy to visit this store. The staff are friendly and helpful, and welcome visits by my dogs and puppy.
Dale I think his name was amazing gave me some great tips about bedding and how my Guinea pigs behave and what that means. But also was very friendly and polite,and also helped sort out my bonus card and gave me some money off which i missed out on when i first bought my Guinea pigs from the cambridge store. The metal excersize area I bought online.
All the staff are super friendly and helpful. When we take Hugo there they spoil him with attention and treats and he just doesn't want to leave. He sulks when we get back home. Pets at Home, St Neots, Hugo misses you!
Great shop for nearly all of your pets needs. I say nearly, simply because it's one of their smaller stores so they can't stock everything, but they're always quick to offer ordering in items for you. Heather has helped me on each of my 4 visits and I can help honestly say she is an asset to the store, very knowledgeable, helpful & more than happy to go out of her way to help you find anything, as well as knowing an excellent amount about the store, food options & nutrition your pet may be needing in their diet. I'm certain all the associates at the store are helpful & know enough in general and I'm sure some specialise in certain areas.

We wanted pet fishes at home as a passion of my childhood I wanted to make my kids to discover. Before this shop opened there was not much choice around in St Neots. So I decided to give Pets at Home a try. Not only they were able to advice us but the people who are in charge are really caring. Every time I've been there, I dealt with people with personal experience as pet owners, living locally. Their app let me order online when they are out of stock and collect at my best convenience. It's always a pleasure to get there with my kids even if this shop is smaller to the other Pets at Home shops we used to visit in Stevenage or Cambridge. Pets at Home St Neots have a decent choice of fish tanks and aquarium gear, live fishes, fish food and care products. I've tried to shop online to find cheaper and believe me it's not even worth my time as the prices difference are minimal.
Jay was absolutely amazing with the fish today. I visited after some advice regarding setting up an aquarium and needless to say I wasn't disappointed. Having been to a number of other pets at home stores, and left unsatisfied with many of the experiences i've had, this is the first time i've actually had a good experience with the fish department. Jay was so informative and really showed his passion for the subject, teaching me all about the nitrogen cycle and giving me some really important advice in regards to cycling my new aquarium. Having been interested in the hobby but unsure whether to take the leap or not, he has given me 100% the confidence to go for it and i'm hopeful I will be back to gain even more of his knowledge and love for fishkeeping. He's an absolute credit to the store.
St Neots Pets at Home Store Staff are consistently fantastic, the Managers within the organisation need to know that. The staff are very approachable, nothing is too much trouble, they deal with queries thoroughly even though it can be very busy there. On numerous occasions staff member Heather has assisted us, her customer service has been superb throughout - thank you Heather. I do hope you can progress within the company to reward staff who offer such a high level of service such as yourself. A great staff customer service. Pets at Home are very fortunate to have staff like that.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in helping me find my puppy a kibble she likes. Didn't catch the young lady's name, but she took a lot of time out to help out for the nutrition, and give us a discount. Not my usual pets at home store, as I live in London. Forgot my puppy's kibble at a friend's I was staying at over the weekend.
I think the staff here are friendly and helpful. It's a large shop and will have most regular things you could want for your cat or dog ... aquatic side is very small and limited hence only four stars and would only meet the needs of someone who is only starting with a basic set-up.
