Been having take aways from Petra’s for years. I ordered online to collect, to turn up and they had received no order although I had paid and had confirmation on my phone. I was then asked to do another order online whilst I was in shop which I did and again that one hadn’t come through to the shop but the money had been taken. Then both orders come through so I paid for 2 orders and only received one due to there machine at the shop having an error. They couldn’t issue me a refund in the shop although I placed the order on their website, had to ring a customer service number to be told I’d have a refund in 5 working days for one of my orders I never received. I rang the shop he took my name and number and said he would sort it and shock never heard anything. After numerous phone calls I gave up and I have never received a refund. Disappointed as I’ve been coming here for years, but the customer service is shocking! Needs improving asap
Had a lovely meal delivered tonight, fresh, hot and very tasty. 3 different kebabs - all gorgeous. Unfortunately one item was missed from the delivery - but after a phone call, we had the missing meal delivered super quick - very impressed! Anyone can make mistakes, but to rectify it so quickly was brilliant. Thankyou very much. We also had a really good meal from here a few weeks ago.
Shame. Used to be a semi-regular customer in the past. Hadn’t ordered for a long while… decided to give it another go: The pizza I ordered gave me food poisoning. Then checked the ‘scores on the doors’ hygiene rating and at the time of writing it was one out of five- defined as ‘Major Improvement Necessary’. Say no more. I won’t be back. Again, shame.
Soggy chips and bread. Chips cold. Asked for no onions and got onions on one of the 3 burgers. Asked for salad and got about 3 bits of lettuce and 1 really thin piece of tomatoe. Really disappointed.
Solid food for what you pay, I'd say the chips could have some sachets of salt/pepper to accompany them but overall the Beef Burger was pretty good and the Kebab was okay too. My only gripe is the delivery guy asked for £1 for the delivery which seems bizarre especially if you choose to pay by card which would suggest that the buyer has no cash on them, so I'd say include the delivery cost with the food the next time at least the guy was pretty cool about it whilst I got the loose change.
Have used Petra countless times, always good. Tonight staff were very rude on the phone. Ordered over the phone for delivery hoping to stop Just Eat ripping them off. Instead We got ripped off by rude staff upping the order value and charging delivery on top. Disgusted Petra.
Very disappointing, terrible customer service. Without any warning the driver asked for a pound for delivery for being over 3 miles away despite just eat saying that it was free delivery and it not being mentioned anywhere including their information section. The driver was extremely rude about the situation and did not apologise even though it is obviously the companies job to notify their customers about these things. We did not have any cash on us which is why we paid by card for a takeaway so we had to borrow the money off someone else who found it equally ridiculous. The food isn't spectacular, you can get all the same food elsewhere and at a better quality anyway, so we will happily order from a place that values and respects their customers and boycott this restaurant completely as our friends are now doing too.
Great deep pan pizza bases. The meat feast type is the best. Then again, look at the garlic bread section. The one with doner meat in it is actually a Calzone. The guys will even change from garlic butter to pizza sauce if you ask nicely. Better bases than pizza chains at a better price. Quicker delivery too. I'm on the very edge of their area & they always arrive hot. My only criticism is that the standard pizza choices could be a bit more exciting, but that's just personal opinion, you might love them. Thats the only reason they don't get 5 stars.
Love the pizzas, probably the best in Warrington. Kebabs ok too.Food: 5/5
