Had a takeaway this evening, not the worst takeaway I have had but not far off, especially given the price. I ordered the special banquet for 2 over £40, the portions were small all the food containers were between a third and half empty, the quality was low. Probably the worst aromatic crispy duck I have had, full of tiny pieces of bone, one of the main courses was totally tasteless.
Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten. The duck was not only cold it was extremely dry. The salt and pepper ribs were chewy, greasy and fatty, in a slimey deep fried batter, which I’ve never seen. The crispy beef was not crispy. It was chewy and badly made! Didn’t even eat any of the order. The only nice thing was the chips. Biggest waste of money I’ve spent.
Excellent meal and good rapport with all the staff. Kelly always makes you feel welcome. We had two grandkids and this was no problem. You must give this place a try. You will then be back again and again.
I travel a lot for work and this has got to be one of the very best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. Food piping hot, delicious and wonderfully friendly staff. Great for a female lone traveller. Made to feel very welcome
Tonight we ordered a Singapore vegetarian vermicelli. Which is a dry spicy rice-noodle dish with egg, mushrooms and water chestnuts. What we received was a sloppy egg noodles swimming in oyster sauce. The water chestnuts had black spots in them and I had 3 mushrooms! Just awful. It cost me a small fortune too. I’ll never bother with this place again.
We ordered a meal with starters for 2. Delivery was on time. The spare ribs were excellent and the whole meal was extremely good. Could not fault it.
Had a take away from here on New Years Day, by far the worst Chinese I have ever had. The food was so bland, the chips were like oven chips that have been blanched and reheated. More expensive than most restaurants, would recommend you go somewhere else.
Have tried several Chinese restaurants in the area but this is our favourite! The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend the salt & pepper chips!
Lovely take away last night. Food was perfect and very tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you Kelly’s
WORST PLACE EVER!! DISGUSTING FOOD AND AWFUL SERVICE!! If I could will give 0 stars. We sat there for two hours the food was disgusting my wife couldn't eat it and we paid way too much for what we got. Don't go there!!
