Takeaway in Warrington. Very friendly counter staff. Open kitchen so you can see the chefs at work. Very reasonably priced food and a good choice menu to pick from. Will tailor the food to your taste of you ask for it e.g. extra chillies. We ordered the chicken bariyani rice with veg curry and salad and chips as sides. Food was very tasty and it was a generous portion too.
We have ordered here for years the last couple of times have been disappointing. I picked up yesterdays order and it was stone cold when I got it home which isn't that far from Tayef Balti. Last time we order from them sadly.
How can you serve food so disgusting? Everything cold curry sauce leaked over other food. Never would l recommend this place to anybody
Something has changed here within the past few months. Always our favourite go to take away. However last few meals, latest being tonight, absolutely vile, inedible and smells off. Ordered a king prawn korma, was little bits of nasty fishy smelling pieces of something very chewy. Not fresh king prawns that had been ordered. I’ve complained to just eat only second complaint in 6 years and they’ve advised me to contact the food standards agency, in keeping hold of the sample incase it’s requested. One mouthful and it was spat right out. Disgusting!!!
Have been getting food from Tayef for over 10 years and always happy with it and have ordered regularly in last couple of months. Delivery last night has really let me down - normally I get a lamb madras as a main meal but I was not able to eat any of the lamb as was just gristle. My pilau rice was plain rice so I’m just hoping they had an off night .
Not fresh food at all tricky with curries just put some chicken pieces into separately cooked curry sauce . Curry meant to be cooked together with meat so it enrich taste and biryani was nearly off what they warm it and served me. I am not against its someones business but they need to know we pay real money for treat ouself but end up chukin it waste money and time and food.
Ok. Here's the thing .If they are busy, the delivery time is long and the food likely to be cold. BUT once it finally arrives, the food is actually very nice indeed. Sure it needs reheating which is not ideal but the dishes we ordered were surprisingly tasty - so much so that I would order from here again despite what I said to them over the phone - I'm truly sorry about that. If they sorted out the delivery issues I wouldn't hesitate to rate them a 5 out of five .
On the 18 April 2020 I placed an order for a meal that was for my 50th and was going to enjoy a meal with my son in Birmingham via facetime as like everyone I had to social distance due to being in the vunerable catagory. The order ended up being one hour fifteen minutes late. I had ordered at just before 7pm and was advised it would be half eight so they were on a 90 min time line. It totally ruined my evening having to rewarm food and when I complained they advised me that if I didn't place a bad review I would get a free order next time. This was advised by Raj and I was told to give that name when i called. I am shocked that ever since i have tried to order and Raj is not in so they cant do anything. So I am at stalemate and feel totally lied to. I wont be going here or advising ever again x
We've been using the tayeff for yrs tryed others but always came back to the tayeff having not had a Indian takeaway for a month or two we ordered one for tonight although edible it wasn't like usual meals we've had in the past mine was nothing like a chicken tikka massal the poppadoms were soft and the nan bread not garlic my partners meal also alot different from the normal sorry to say we be going elsewhere ttgoinelsewhere
Tasty food..friendly staff..had garlic rice, which was awesome at that price. Had rice from other shops but this was nice.
