Cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough. From the moment you’re welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff, to the moment your brilliantly cooked food arrives it feels like you are in the heart of France. Topped off with a great wine list. The only difficulty I had was choosing what to eat! Ah well, even more of an excuse to be back very soon…
Wow, wow, wow, it's possibly the best French restaurant in town. The food sensational, staff exceptional and to top the night off the wonderful people gave money off our bill to show their congratulations on our 12th wedding anniversary. Thank you to everyone at LPC for making our evening truly special Food: 5/5
A brisk healthy walk from Shepherd's Bush Underground Station will bring you to this delightful French restaurant. I received impeccable service from the smiling and engaging Davonte who took modifications in my order in his stride. I thoroughly enjoyed the red lentil soup and coquilles st Jacques. Doesn't food taste just great when you haven't had it in ages? It was a treat to savour again the coquilles st Jacqueline, that were beautifully presented and perfectly prepared, accompanied by colourful carrots. There is a great selection of drinks on offer, including the celebre Ricard that I enjoyed as an aperitif. I ended the experience with a quality cheesebord. The decor complements the atmosphere, and as such, this is a great venue to enjoy an evening with friends or family. I hope you will concur.
Saturday lunch for 4. Easy online booking and you can leave special instructions too. Always a warm welcome from the maitre d’ who selects very efficient and well-mannered serving staff. Very good kitchen and the French provincial cooking is excellent. Good wine list to accompany. David W, June 2024
Went for dinner here and it was fantastic, the confit duck was outstanding, so tender and flavourful with crispy skin. Ratotouille was stellar too, as was the garlic bread starter, and the environment in the restaurant was great too convivial and friendly and we were really digging the retro French pop that was being playedFood: 5/5
A special meal out: friendly and efficient service from the whole team, a lovely choice of drinks, and delicious, well-cooked food. Highlights were the duck fat popcorn; the courgette, pea, and basil soup; and the salt cod gratin. Highly recommended.
Nice place to have a french 60's atmosphere. It has a choice of french typical south cuisine, including some addons from the french speaking Mediterranean neighbours. It reminded me, my time in france when I was a kid. Just like in the film Ratatouille. And I took a ratatouille
The food took us back to our time in Southern France. We enjoyed our duck confit, coq au vin blanc, and our lavender-laced drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The food was so good that we absolutely had to order dessert and had an excellent lemon dessert as well as the pictured chocolate one. We will be back, especially in colder weather for the cassoulet.
My friend and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at this superb local French bistro. Authentic and delicious French dishes, friendly and attentive service and great décor all at excellent value for money Highly recommended. We'll definitely be coming back again very soon!
