It is my local restaurant, and We had our ten anniversary of friendship celebration there; each dish is so delicate and delicious. the sorbet’s flavour was a surprise packet; The presentation is beyond expectation. the staff are accommodating, warm and friendly. We had a lovely time, will. Come.back more often.
Incredible lunch at Perilla, highly recommend. We did the set lunch and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend the bread and brown butter, the mushroom carbonara, and the chocolate tart. Also, the Paloma cocktail was the best I've ever ever ever had. 5/5.
Incredible set menu experience here with fresh food, great service and delightful flavour combinations. Indulged in the set menu with the mushroom carbonara and the custard tart being the evenings highlight. This one has been on the London bucket list for a while now and a belated V day date night didn't dissapoint. Will be back one day for sure.
Looooved everything here. Quaint, lovely, intimate restaurant. Excellent service. Food was absolutely delicious. We had the multiple course dinner with paired wines - perfect. Highly recommend. Will definitely go again!
What a gem! A must for any local or foodie worth the travel to. It is clear there is a lot of thought in the ingredients, quality of and execution to the dishes. I loved they play with textures and flavours. I was blown away by the focaccia and loved the soup dish mopping it up with the sourdough we ordered. The schnitzel was heavenly. Great for couples or small group of 3-4. Can get a little bit loud when at full capacity. Lastly a big thank you to our servers. Both were authentic and helpful.
Overall a very decent experience! Highlights were definitely the sourdough bread with seaweed and brown bread butter which was delightful. We didn’t opt for the tasting menu as we weren’t super hungry and I think we ordered sufficiently. We also got the onion vol au vent which was nice but maybe the least interesting dish and the carbonara was pretty interesting. The steak and mussels was delicious, I’ve never had ice berg lettuce served like that but we both agreed it was an unexpected highlight. Wish I had room for the apple custard doughnut but was just too full in the end. Lovely decor and staff too. I wasn’t drinking at the time but the wine list looked rather pricey.
This is stylish, creative cooking with visual flair and exciting ideas. The dining room is beautiful and full of light. I loved the dishes, which were memorably good. But I think even with service included it’s slightly too expensive; and I would expect slicker service at these prices. We got things slightly out of sequence - when you’re paying these prices, you expect the experience to be close to perfect.
Possibly one of the best places I have eaten in London! The Minestrone was outstanding and the staff was incredibly friendly!! Highly recommend the set menu! It’s definitely worth it! :
Went here for a date night but partner and I both got a stomach ache afterwards. Food was decent with the bread being the star but quality not matching the price. Steak + lettuce as the main was a tad bit disappointing. Food: 2* Value for Money: 1* Hospitality: 2*
5 stars is just not enough for Perilla! I can’t even begin to explain how insanely incredible the food is. The culmination of flavours and use of seasonal ingredients is what makes every dish sublime. Every time we’ve gone we’ve had a different menu and every time we go I’m certain that the next set menu cannot top the last but boy do they exceed all expectations. The dishes are far better than most restaurants I’ve been to in London and Perilla is an easy top 3 for any foodie.
