This is a pretty much perfect restaurant. Real hospitality from the lovely staff. Delicious, unusual dishes. Amazing wine list. Great atmosphere and we were neither kept waiting nor rushed. The menu changes frequently so there’s always something new to try. A fast favourite
Delicious plates along a fantastic natural wine list… what more can we ask for?!
We had dinner on a Friday night, and although the place was very busy we were able to stay for over 2 hours and enjoy the delicious food and great wine. Lorenzo helped us pick a very good and reasonably price bottle of wine and made us feel very welcome. One of the best meals we've had in London, as we're already looking forward to the next one!
The veggie dishes were lovely, real mix of interesting and subtle flavours. Will definitely come back to sample the fish of the day and meat dishes. I also felt that the portion sizes were good, as with many other tapas / shared mix plates restaurants lately the portions can be a bit measly. Vegetarian options: Great veggie options.
I went there the first time last Friday, it's a lovely place with a big wine list and good food however, the waitress didn't know anything about variety of wines. This is kind of disappointed me as the place served mostly wines and having knowledge around products it's fundamental for me and for the customer service. The food was ok but the staff forgot to give us the starters i ordered, they served the mains not at the same time, so i had no chance to eat together with my friend. Quite disappointing experience if you think about the prices as well.
I can't say that I had the best experience here. The food was fine, but honestly some dishes were quite underwhelming. For all the hubbub from some reviews, I expected more. And although we booked, we were shuffled out quite determinedly before two other tables, who were already seated and ordering drinks when we arrived... I appreciate that new arrivals had booked and needed somewhere to sit, but I can't for the life of me work out why there was pressure on us to leave while the tables seated before us were relaxedly chatting and ordering more stuff as they liked. Don't think I'll be coming back.
Good service and tasty food, could give it a 5…. but i felt it was somehow overpriced. We spent over £35 each on food and left feeling like i could eat a lot more and the £48 wine did not impress me. If i would come back i would eat just the a lot of melted cheese and the deserts!
Excellent local restaurant in N16 is now quite long established. Everything was high standard but particularly good were the fritto misto, pork chop and crab salad. The organic wines sometimes an acquired taste but the Cabernet Franc excellent. And really friendly service from the waitresses. Strongly recommended.
Nice experience at Rubedo. Went on Saturday lunch to grad a small bite. And I must say it was a nice one. Although Rubedo is a rotisserie expert in grilled chicken, they offer on Saturday’s a special. scratosso, Venician battered seafood cone including mussels, squid and cod with courgette slice with gremolata. £8 It’s a really nice treat full of flavours from the gremolata, batter is light and crispy not oil at all. Quite enjoyable to grad and share while strolling Quantity is generous.
Incredible food and wine, with the loviest staff. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
