Shop here frequently to visit boots, Superdrug etc. It’s a shame that a series of useful stores have been closed down like Wilkos. I look forwards to the revamp of shopping centre
An empty shell of many years ago. There's very little point to this place still being open these days. The entire top floor, which once had a cafe and some good shops, is now completely empty. Most of the shops downstairs offer very little that other places don't. It's sad to see this. It's just like Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, where back in the 80s and 90s, it was booming and had many great variety of places to shop, and now it doesn't.
A wonderful store. Every time I go there I buy something interesting for my porcelain or crystal collection. Nice sellers. Reasonable prices compared to other stores of this type. I recommend everyone to visit this small but interesting store.
Rather time worn & somewhat dreary shopping centre. I particularly did not like the drunken / drugged yobs who ran past me yelling out loudly, even though it was only around lunchtime.nIt does have a fairly good range of shops. Boots being exceptional, with a huge eye & hearing centre.nI also enjoyed the central cafe where the service was top class & with a nice smile from the staff. Prices were very reasonably too.nThere did, reassuringly, seem to be a large amount of security staff, on hand. One was notably quite taken with the Muzak being dished out & to which he was giving a free dance routine, which amusing & skillful though it was, certainly did not warrant him giving up his day job.nAlthough, still reasonably pleasant to visit & utilise during daylight hours, I would still urge that you use the Pentagon with a degree of caution.
Nice local shopping center, not much buzz as most businesses have closed down or left. Top floor is virtually empty. I feel owners need to encourage more businesses to come over. They should inject more life and buzz, maybe a kids zone/play area could encourage more visitors and businesses. As for the locals, they enjoy visiting and shopping in the remaining shops.
