Jacqueline and Linda Arrived at the Pencubitt guest house on Monday the 2 /9/24 Patrick was very welcoming to me and my mom met Julie at breakfast next morning they are amazing people they do an outstanding. service at the Pencubitt guest house food is outstanding Cleanliness is outstanding. I could not wish for any better and would recommend the Pencubitt guest house ie Patrick @ Julie me and my mom enjoyed our stay and will be going back soon the house and the lovely gardens are just beautiful
A former Victorian Wool Merchants House which Patrick and Julie now run a very nice B&B optional evening meal from. We stayed for 4 nights and found the centrality very useful.Rooms: 5/5
Patrick and Julie were professional, welcoming and lovely hosts. The room was immaculate, as was the rest of the house. Patrick made the best breakfasts I've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there.Rooms: 5/5
Terrific stay in a lovely guesthouse hosted by Patrick and Julie. Room was comfortable, food exceptional and service impeccable. A good stay if you're looking to go to the surrounding areas like Fowey. Would highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
We were super impressed by our one night stay here. The room was SUPERB. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It had a seating area with a tv and a very large modern bathroom. We were also really happy with the breakfast choice. It's a very short drive off the A38, but we actually walked from the station.
Pencubitt House is beautiful both internally and externally. The views from our bedroom window and the grounds of the property are stunning. It was our first trip down to Cornwall and definitely one to remember. The service was spot on throughout our stay and I can’t fault it one bit. Our room was fabulous, and they nailed it with cleanliness; I honestly have nothing negative to say about my stay at Pencubitt House. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone who was thinking of visiting Liskeard.
Had an great stay here at Pencubitt... Patrick and Julie are fantastic hosts; very helpful and welcoming. Breakfasts are generous and excellent and Patrick also does a very good evening meal. Great selection of local food and drink available. Room 9 is a really nice, comfortable room with lovely views and a wonderful bathroom.
Had the most gorgeous stay at this beautiful location. The hospitality that I had was first class, I was staying on my own for business so it really helped me feel settled. The food was fantastic, and the breakfast selection was the best I've ever had. What's hidden gem. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for my lovely stay! Pippa
Fantastic. Definitely​ deserves the five star rating. Room was excellent. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Lovely views across the countryside​. A quiet and peaceful place. Have enjoyed our stay here very much.
Excellent food and the best kind of hospitality you could wish for, will be returning as soon as possible would highly recommend. Just returned for 2nd visit. Patrick and Julie were just fantastic as hosts. Patrick's cooking is sublime. Lamb shank was amazing so was the shepherds pie.. Favorite desert was the amazing Tiramisu.. Won't be to long hopefully for visit number 3
