Lovely place to stay with great grounds you can walk around. Dog friendly and owners are really nice and always on hand to help you if you need anything with just a simple text message. Only one thing would be to get better mattresses to make the stay perfect!
Been here twice. Beautiful holiday cottages set in private grounds in the middle of nowhere. Perfect retreat but still close enough to drive fit day trips. Great little swimming pool and tennis courts. Lots of nice little walks nearby. Highly recommended for families / couples.
The Good Beautiful scenery, gorgeous setting, great pool. The Bad While the setting is private, the owners live on site - they were watching us coming and going. Checking noise levels of other guests on the site. Made the stay less comfortable and private than we had hoped. I didn’t feel like I could leave the cottage without being checked on. Weirdly they only supplied 6 plates and cutlery so we had to wash up constantly. The Ugly Bathroom and shower functional but looked tired.
Stayed here in 2011 . The cottages are old and quaint but well equipped with everything you need . The owners are lovely and live next door but leave you well alone but are there if you require anything . It's such a relaxing place to stay and if you like your privacy . So many places to see and visit , most within an hour's drive . Hope to go back soon and have another enjoyable week . 10 out of 10 :- I did go back in 2014. Hired out all 4 cottages to accommodate 20 family and friends because my wife and I got married at Fowey Hotel. Still an excellent place to stay
Nice quiet place off the beaten track, just outside of Liskard. 30 minute drive to Looe and Polperro. Under new ownership since we last stayed and is now owned by a lovely American couple. Self-catering with heated 27C pool which is regularly cleaned. Full tennis court and a small games room with pool table, darts and table football. Laundry room at a £1 a wash if needed.
Lovely setting, great to have a pool on site. Great owners on hand if you need. Great walks, ideal for dogs and owners.
Really beautiful cottages, very well equipped to a high standard. Beautiful surrounding, very quiet and still close to everything.
Fantastic cottages and very friendly welcoming owners....couldn't ask for more....looking forward to our next visit!!!
