Really nice quiet place! And a no e walk around the pound. Also shop that sells hot food and cold drinks. Ice-creams etc. Benches available to sit down and eat.

Good basic food ,staff very attentive to your needs. Sunday dinners need to be booked. Large parties catered for easily. Would use again.

Situated on the hilltop above Blackwood this could be so nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the on-site pub is very welcoming with excellent grub. Sadly the owners are unsympathetic and have let the place go downhill. They seem happy to fill the place with contractors. There is an in-cared for feel about the place and around the edges it looks more like a council tip. The nature trail is a path of hardcore and the dog walk is about 100yds of double-track past a bank covered in refuse. Not at all picturesque or welcoming. An emergency overnight halt at best.

Nice and peaceful, clean. Plenty of bins to put doggy bag in.
