Great place for a walk. Tarmac footpath around the lake and some longer tarmac footpaths. You  can wander up into the woods on the footpaths but these get muddy after rain. Fishing on lake possible after purchasing permit. Camping facilities on site and cafe in spring and summer. Car parking starts at £1 for 2 hours.

Lovely lake to walk Around. Very pretty. Small park for the children.  Nice cafe.

Thoroughly enjoyed the walk with stunning scenery. Would be useful for the park to advertise details of the opening times of the visitors centre and cafe.

Beautiful place but lake has issues when it comes to fishing. Pay for parking between 7am to 7pm but is cheap. On site shop and cafe in season but very expensive. Campsite and kids play area. Waterfall nearby with nice walks. Dog friendly.
