Pelton Arms is a decent local pub, with a few seats inside, a small back garden & the occasional pizza while I’ve been there primarily for a pizza & beer 3 times now, having called in advance, each time the pizza “had just run out”. Beer is good, and pizza is tasty when a viable. They do have regular music & quiz nights volume tends to be deafening though, so be mindful of that.
Nice neighborhood pub. I live nearby and am always being asked for directions, so had to check it out for myself, but I still have pandemic mentality and they are always too busy for my comfort level. We went in a cold Sunday afternoon when it was less busy to have drinks and small bites in the garden, which was empty on a 4⁰ day. The staff was friendly, there was live music, all the customers seemed to be regulars and know each other, and unlike other pubs in the middle of January, they had no problems serving us in the garden. Although we were hoping for some other small bites, they only had the reduced Sunday menu. The croquettes were served hot and taste just like tapas you would expect from a Spanish restaurant. I'll definitely return again to try other wines and small bites, or grab a pizza to go.
I was there for a live music event, the event was brilliant and the Pelton Arms is a great venu and pub. There's loads of bar space and friendly staff when you need to be served. And when the music got going there was space to throw some shapes. I've heard there is a pub cat which is always a sign of a happy pub x
Solid London boozer for locals, definitely worth a drink and a soak up of the atmosphere and history. Nice staff, good beer, 'Only Fools and Horses' was filmed here too. Would go back
Love this place, backstreet boozer with top entertainment 4 nights a week, great Pizzas, good beer and nice people. Actually, whilst typing this, we have decided to go over there today, Blues band this afternoon I think. Cheers!
Good pub, nicely set up inside with a great garden/smokers area. Only stopped for quick pint while passing but saw there was a band setting up and would love to see live music there.
Pizza was actually perfectly cooked, fingerliciouse live music closer to the evening. Bubbly staff, great service, warm atmosphere. We loved it. Definitely will pop in again
Proper local pub with live music and very friendly staff and clientele who actually chat to strangers. Nice garden. Also enjoyed the pizza there.
Brilliant pub, came in with my sister in August, there was live music on, The black cat boppers, we had a really good night, A couple of pints of Red stripe, lovely people, excellent bar staff. Good prices, will definitely be going back. When I visit London again. Thanks pelton Arms. Carol and Cathy.
This pub had the best bands. The atmosphere is eclectric when bands are playing. Great fresh stone baked pizza and beer garden too.
