Stayed for 2 nights for a concert at the O2. Twin room was perfect size for the 2 of us, with crisp clean bedding and towels. Lovely little bar downstairs with friendly staff and locals. Had a nice roast in there on the Sunday too. Manageress and staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were a little apprehensive about the shared toilet and shower room, however, it was never a problem, and was always clean. Would highly recommend for short stay. Thank you to all the staff!
Really good place to stay! We were attending a concert at the o2, was a 20 minute walk, and was perfect. Rooms were clean and the lady that greeted us at the bar was lovely. Only things I would say is that when leaving in the evening the door wasn’t locking as the lock was falling off but was easily fixed and we just tightened the screw so not a big problem. Unfortunately the wifi was not working in our room as we were on the top floor which was a shame but overall, a lovely stay if you’re attending the o2. Will definitely be back :
Nice sized rooms, everything you need. Bed was super comfortable. Very warm throughout. Easy to stagger back to from the O2. Pub below sells a wide variety of drinks, has a really nice local pub feel. The landlady was lovely.Rooms: 5/5
After a really long journey from Cornwall, we were warmly welcomed by Tara. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate. Although the loo and shower was shared, it was clean and seemed to be always available. My three teen girls were treated with care, respect and had all their queries answered - nothing was too much trouble. My girls went shopping, and I decided to stay at the hotel, a couple drinks at the bar and a fabulous roast. OMG!!!! Gorgeous. Tara and all the other girls - bar, housekeeping and kitchen were amazing - friendly, helpful and good company. Felt like a real home from home. I will definitely stay here again when I return to London - totes found my ‘city pad’ Thanks Angerstein xx
We stayed here for a night. We had a fine stay and the staff were friendly, but ultimately it had the feel of a pub that had a few rooms more than a hotel. Clean rooms, convenient location to public transit, perfect for a quick stay so long as you aren’t looking for anything super extravagant. Note that the bar downstairs does not have food. We went to a pizza place down the street for dinner. There are many steps up to the rooms as well, so be aware of that if you have heavy luggage.
I arrived at the hotel today due to working in London and the trains are on strike from tomorrow so easier to stay here than in sheerness to get to work. what amazing location to also great customer services from the staff from booking it through a friends friend and to getting the keys and showing me to where I have to go. Very local to busses and trains and the o2 is a stone throw away. Would highly recommend this place to anyone
Went to see Peter Kay at the 02. Needed a close and value for money bed for the night for me, my wife and daughter. We found the Angerstein Hotel. 10 minutes by bus 129 to 02 or a half hour walk. Lovely welcome from the landlady. Clean and comfortable beds and great advice on travel. You can't go wrong if you want great service and not spend the earth. We will be back. Thank you!
Can’t fault the hotel at all. Was met at the door with a smile all staff where so helpful and polite. Even the lass on the bar when I get back was so friendly and polite. Would stay again anytime Ian xRooms: 5/5
I booked this place for my daughter's hen do, which was at the O2 arena. The staff were amazing and would go above and beyond for us. There were 9 of us in the group. So welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable as were the shared facilities. If you have an event at the o2, I would highly recommend this place. It is convenient for the location and has a great bar too. Locals were as friendly as the ladies who run the hotel. I would definitely stay there again!
Very nice pub. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Nice and friendly staff! I’ll be again for sure
