Purchased a Cannondale Beast of the east from Pedal On, unfortunately I crashed the bike in Wales after only 2 rides in and damaged the frame. Pedal On spoke to the Cannondale rep who sorted a replacement bike for me. I can't recommend them enough, great bunch of guys - will definitely be purchasing from them again.

Definitely the place to buy a bike. Pedalon was the only bike shop who would let me test ride a similar bike before i purchased the one i did. When spending over £3000 on a bike this was hugely comforting. The guys being the desk are all competent cyclists and seem to know what they are talking about. When the new bike arrived, it was fitted properly (not your Evans Cycle fit) and you can go back in 6-8weeks to get everything tuned back up. The Podium points really do add a huge cherry on top. I was able to compliment my new bike purchase with a host of accessories without having to compromise on getting a cheaper bike to afford them. What’s even better is the bike i bought was the same price everywhere! Well worth the trip.....o and the coffee is pretty good to.

I couldn’t decide on the sizing of a new bike because i was right in the middle of 2 sizes based on the manufacturers size charts. I phoned Pedalon who gave me great advice over the phone. But as this was an expensive purchase i asked if I could come in and try a few sizes out. The guy on the phone said he didn't have one of the sizes i was looking at but would build one up for me to come in and try it at the weekend (This was on a Tuesday). When i went in to try the bike the chap looking after me was brilliant, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. After measuring me up properly he then allowed me to try the bikes as many times each as i wanted (unfortunately it was too wet to try them on the roads but he set me up on the turbo trainer). I had my son with me and after a while he started to get bored so the guy involved him in the sizing process and made him feel part of it which was a really nice touch. At no point did i feel like i was being pressured or rushed. Their knowledge and advice is spot on and the choice in the shop is fantastic. Needless to say i came away with a new bike (and shoes and pedals of course) but i didn't come away with my old shoes that I took to try the bikes with. I left them there in my excitement. When i got the phone call from the shop to let me know i was already 20 mins down the road and didn't have time to turn back. No problem he said. I'll pack them up and post them to you. No charge... All in all a fantastic bike shop, with a great range of stuff both in store and online. Very knowledgeable and helpful people who obviously do this as their passion. Great experience all round. And great prices too

2 years on from buying my Trek road bike from Pedal On, still great customer service responding to ad-hoc questions. I would definitely go back to Pedal On in the future

Purchased a Trek Crockett 9, very good customer service (and coffee) and delighted with the product. The experience was made all the better for buying from a professional independent retailer.
