Highly recommend travelling a bit further to reach this store. Simon was extremely helpful and following an error with the website manage to sort out my order with compensation for the hassle and arrange to have the correct item delivered straight to my door! Go outdoors Basingstoke.... should actually do what their name says and go outdoors to the public foot path that runs past their site, their side of the wooden fence is a total rubbish tip and a public eyesore! Shame on them ... promoting the great outdoors and yet allow rubbish for months and months to biild up in view of their site, you would think it's in their interests... public image to get it cleaned up .!!!!

Ok for some things, equipment, kit etc, but have very poor stock for clothes, when questioned they have always "just sold out and waiting on deliveries". Trouble is it never changes. Would use more if they carried more stock. Also recently, very scruffy out side, ideal place if you are looking for a big pile of cigarette ends. I tend to pick up stuff I need when out and about now, which is a shame.

The best customer service I ever had!!!! Perfect example to everyone else. Quality products. Unfortunately bought a faulty item for the first time, can happen to be honest to any one. Spoke to customer service on the phone as wasn't sure what policies they have in place regarding footwear. Have been advised to take back to the store, where they offered the exchange for the same pair which wasn't in stock, SA had to order on line which was done straight away in the store with free next day delivery to your home address. I've received the new pair within 18h. early in the morning. Very impressed the way they handled my enquiry and highly recommend.
