Beautiful pub with rooms. Extremely cosy, relaxed ambience and excellent service. They accommodated our little family with ease and charm. We felt very at home here and would definitely visit again.

Can't fault the location, staff or food. In the summer the garden is glorious. In the winter, the restaurant is warm and cosy. Treat yourself.

My first visit to this pub/restaurant was greeted by a friendly chap behind the bar, the open fire was roaring away and very cozy. We were 8 people booked in for Sunday evening supper. Good menu with enough things to keep us all happy, the food was very good and with a detailed explanation of where most things come from locally. It is a bit more expensive than other pubs I've eaten in recently but the food was good and worth that bit extra. I can't comment on the beer as I was driving but there was a choice of 4 different ales plus lager and cider. All in all a nice place to be and would recommend it to friends and family.

Went there for a Sunday lunch with friends and all I can say is the menu was not too big but quite unique and there was good selection of dishes, could do with few more vegetarian options though. The food was great and we were all happy and nobody complaint, desserts were delicious and we have spent very enjoyable afternoon! I love the building and interior and there is great atmosphere overall, very cosy place to spend cool afternoon. Definitely recommended!
