Great high quality garden centre, farm shop and restaurant. Great range of house plants and lovely colourful pots to match. Wide range of gifts to purchase in the store, including local greetings cards from local artists. The restaurant is always very busy and has a great reputation, the food is very good and high quality. The farm shop is brilliant, a great range on offer.
Excellent restaurant and farm shop. Friendly service. Delicious fresh cooked food and home made cakes. Excellent farm shop with home made pies and a wide range of products including local vegetables.
I went today for a Christmas lunch the girls my Close friends and my newborn. The service was fabulous - efficient and friendly staff. The food was AMAZING! I had the roasted winter vegetable salad with goats cheese to start - which was so good I couldn’t eat it quick enough! And traditional roast Turkey for my main, which had one of the best roast potatoes I’ve ever had!! Good portion sizes as well and very well priced! Unfortunately I couldn’t manage a pudding, but my friends did and they looked amazing. They also catered to my intolerances - I’m gluten and lactose free! Would highly recommend a visit!
Second visit to the garden centre on Saturday, with my husband & mother in law. Lovely food yet again in their restaurant. My husband went for the fish & chips, myself & my mother in law opted for the sirloin steak. Food was amazing & excellent value for money. My only grumble on this occasion was that my husband wasn't allowed to swop his mushy peas for an alternative. Sadly the young girl who served us Emma wasn't the most helpful or friendliest of people. Along with some cakes to take home with us we spent a good £70 so we would have liked a more helpful/friendlier member of staff serving us.
A lovely cafe with a good choice of savoury items and delicious cakes. Vegan and gluten free options available. Always end up buying something from the shop, usually a plant, and love the fresh produce in the farm shop, lovely veg!
Wonderful cafe/restaurant. Make sure you book if lunch is your target. Always seems very busy whenever we go. And you can see why when you taste the food. Generous sized portions and scrummy flavours. Presentation style suggests restaurant standard rather than a 'garden centre cafe', but then it's a wonderful garden centre too. Oh and don't forget the farmshop!
The Christmas menu was utterly delightful! Great value for money and the food was AMAZING.
Great staff great food try to reserve for lunch. Coffee you can turn up but be prepared to wait. Worth it for the cake! Lovely atmosphere. Expensive but good quality farm shop and gift shop.
Lovely garden centre. The gift shop is lovely, full of lovely gifts and a pet section. They also have a lovely farm shop full of amazing produce, fresh and local. We come here mainly for the Cafe. If you're going to the cafe for lunch. Book in advance! Very popular. Coffee is great, they use a local roaster 'dusty ape' for the coffee beans, we started using these coffee beans at home. Cakes and sweet treats are lovely. If we go for lunch we always get the falafel burger and lamb flatbread. They are delicious. Quiches are also lovely. Not had anything else off the lunch menu. Often come for coffee and scones. Highly recommended. Cheese scones and the chilli jam is amazing. Cheese scones go quick too so book early, Get there early.
A traditional garden centre with restaurant and farm shop. The garden centre has plenty of plants and trees with a nice shop selling plenty of garden accessories and gifts. The restaurant is superb, plenty of seating in a nice relaxed atmosphere. The menu is superb with some really tasty and unusual fillings and the triple cooked chips... Well, they're only the best chips I've ever had! Service was friendly and fast and it wasn't too expensive! There is also a farm shop on site selling lots of local produce. Was really impressed with the quality of vegetables and produce on display. The so is fairly small but there is something to reboot every year buds and their are a nice amount of samples to tickle your taste buds! Recommended for lunch and a browse!
