This isn't a pub, it's your home. A most delightful place offering a welcome like no other. The beer is great although, not one for the real ale drinkers. A fantastic place for love and a beer. X
What an amazing little find run by some really nice people. The chicken noodle soup was absolutely delicious! Felt very welcome. Highly recommended for anyone passing by with a ravenous hunger.
Very interesting place, old fashion pub full of paintings made by host. Amazing selection of authentic Serbian food and beer Jelen!!!, i was bought after host give me a Jelen without questioning so i felt like back home in Serbia. Very delicious and tasty cevapcici and sausages. Hosts are very polite, welcoming and top of everything interesting. Ready to share some stories and show collection of antiques. Thank you Nataša and Paya, see you soon!
An odd little bar on the edge of the estate. Eccentric decor and a decent range of drinks. Friendly and chatty locals and a relaxed vibe. Worth a visit.
The decor is dated — you feel like you’re in the 90s. The person behind the bar was nice, and we were truly having a good time, until a man in a Tyrolean hat an owner? told me not to “put my ass” on the pool table I wasn’t. I had finished a game of pool and was watching my friends play darts nearby — at most, I was leaning against the table. I was certainly not sitting on it. If he had handled it more nicely, then I would have been more generous in my review, but the entire situation felt unnecessarily aggressive and oddly xenophobic, as he clarified that he “was British”, so he cared about his pool table…as if a group of French people didn’t respect property???. All in all, absolutely do not recommend this pub.
modern, slick, great atmosphere, great service and amazing food! great little gem, will be going again
A niche little pub off the beaten track in Battersea. A little quiet for my liking as there didn't seem to be many people in there at the time, but otherwise the pub was relaxed and had a nice vibe. Decent beers on offer too.
Terrible. The owner of the bar hit on me, I rejected his advances. His ego took a hit and he kicked me out. I refused as I just bought my drink, so he pushed my belongings on the floor, and turned my table upside down. He was extremely aggresive, rude and he also physically grabbed me. I did not get a refund on my drinks. For any woman who wants to feel safe while having a drink, do not go here. Take your money elsewhere. In all that has happened in 2021, I expected better. I also recorded this encounter on my phone, so i can also back up what have I said. Looking at the other negative comments, it seems the owner has a problem with people of colour...shock horror!
Does anyone else laugh at the most pointlessly aggressive and grammatically incorrect welcome of any pub in the city of London? "Skay sport is too expensive foras" is a legendary phrase in South London. 1 star for the laughs you give us all when we drink in pubs that don't suck. Good work.
We ended up here by accident when our original destination was too full. What a cosy place! Loved the artwork on the walls, and being painted in the room, and the wonderful assortment of hats. Quirky and comfy with friendly staff, we'll be back.
