Cheeky little parking scam if you turn up at 6.30pm. You have to pay £3.60 for remaining 30mins of normal daytime parking at minimum 2hrs slot then a further £1.20 to stay beyond 7pm. So £4.80 to stay less than 2hrs. I know tourists should pay but this is either badly designed pricing or a scam!
I drive a massive four by four because I'm better than everyone else and had no problems parking here, my tyres weren't even let down like they were in Camden by those pesky liberals! Would recommend if you too are in a large 4x4 to compensate for other short comings...
It's a car park. That's about it. Didn't take a picture of the car park cos it's a bit boring, so used another picture instead. And it's expensive.
Come here before 10.00am to ensure a Parking space as it gets very busy. There was a flow of vehicles departing as well as new ones arriving, just be patient! There is a Charge to Park, don't leave without paying as you may be fined? Saying all of that, it's pretty central for all things Keswick: cafes, shops and restaurants.
Very handy car park for visiting Keswick though it's often full and you migtht have to circulate several times before you find someone leaving and you get a space! Payment is by cash possibly card, can't remember! but also by phone app which is really useful.
Can pay by coins or cards. Minimum stay is 2 hours at a cost of £3.20 in april 2018. You can park up near keswick museum for free if there's space
Machines provide change but it has been disabled and the card payment times out, do not stay in this car park, if possible, as it is a rip off to maximise profits
Motorbikes free, and there is a securing rail for your chain.
While it is handy for the centre of Keswick it was expensive, especially when one of the machines malfunctioned and kept half the money placed inside
Very expensive to park the car here, £5.50 for 3 hours!
