Mission

To get the community involved with local rugby at the local rugby club. The club runs several teams of different age groups. It is easy to get involved.

"Rugby Union Club with 2 pitches, covered grandstand, clubhouse and two large carparks. Bar is open to the public with Sky Sports tv, good ales, free fibre broadband, large sunny patio with fabulous views of the fells. Well behaved dogs welcome.We are also the home of the famous Keswick Beer Festival & Keswick Half Marathon.Clubhouse can be booked for private functions.Two Pay & Display carparks open to the public £4/day 9am - 9amNO Mobile homes or Campervans allowed in our carparks."

Visited here when the Keswick Half Marathon was on. The parking was easy and all day £4 which was a bargain. All staff were helpful and kind when we needed help. The whole event was very well organised and we will be visiting the area again and coming down to the Rugby Club for a drink.
Editing my rating as the rugby club thought the stars related to the car park...the car park is 5 stars you'll love it, great value. Bar staff polite and buffet was reasonable. The club building serves It's purpose and they have plans for revamping some areas too. Views are lovely around the site.
Nice place for a beer and to watch the the rugby on tv. Good welcome. Not a member only a visitor. Good place to park, £4.00 for 24hrs
Brilliant car park facilities. Much cheaper than other car parks and only a short walk. Particularly good if you intend using ferry across Derwent Water. Launch point under 10min. walk away and car park ticket gives entitlement to discount on ferry fare.

Beautiful location to watch rugby. I believe the bar is open to the public.
Good pint and reasonably priced, friendly barman and great views outside on a nice day.
We watched the England vs Sweden World Cup quarter final in the cosy traditional clubhouse. There was an understandably long but orderly queue for the bar but with 3 screens showing the game, no problem. There's also a good sized seating area outside, overlooking the pitch.
Great local facility for both adults and children. Very well run and maintained.
Friendly staff, lovely to watch sunset on patio overlooking the rugby pitches, great for family
