To get the community involved with local rugby at the local rugby club. The club runs several teams of different age groups. It is easy to get involved.

"Rugby Union Club with 2 pitches, covered grandstand, clubhouse and two large carparks. Bar is open to the public with Sky Sports tv, good ales, free fibre broadband, large sunny patio with fabulous views of the fells. Visited here when the Keswick Half Marathon was on. The parking was easy and all day £4 which was a bargain. All staff were helpful and kind when we needed help. The whole event was very well organised and we will be visiting the area again and coming down to the Rugby Club for a drink.
Parked all day yesterday with 2 cars, myself and my daughter. Both paid for our parking, machine confirmed paid and gave us some 20 mins to leave the car park. I asked for a receipt but nothing came out. All fine, then the money showed as coming out of my daughter’s bank account but nothing on mine. Returned to the car park again today but with only one car and my daughter paid and again it’s showing on her account. Still nothing showing on my account. I have checked with my bank and they can’t see it. I have gone on line with Park with Ease and paid £5 which seems to now have gone through and I have an online receipt. I had also registered with Park with Ease but it didn’t show any outstanding payments. First time we have had this problem and would use the car park again but will keep an eye on the payment coming out straight away as I don’t want £60 fine.
Great rugby grounds and good team. Plenty parking 5 minutes walk from Keswick town centre and costs £5 all day and you also get 30% off the launches at the lake as well when you park in car park. Much more value then other parking area which charge around £8/£10 all day
Not been here in 20 years when there was a club house.. bit chaotic with the renovations and expensive parking! It'll be great when all is finished.
We used this car park 3 times while on holiday. Great location and only £5 all day BUT.....nBeware the ticket machines and don't pay cash!nOn our last visit the machine was faulty and not accepting card. It asked for cash, which we inserted. It didn't register and wouldnt eject, so we checked online using the QR code. Said we didn't owe anything, so we assumed the payment had gone through.nWe recieved a fine notice dated 30/7 that arrived 12/8 giving us 1 day to appeal, or have the fine increase from £35 to £60. We sent an appeal with proof of the above but no receipt and was told in no uncertain terms we hadnt paid.nWe sincerely hope the £40 paid for a few hours parking went to the rugby club and not in the pockets of park with ease.
