Really clean and immaculate campsite. Really child friendly with free toys and bikes to play with. 

On a Friday an awesome fish and chip van turns up. The warden is a really nice guy , who took the time to make a fuss of the kids. Really reccommed this site

We stayed for 4 nights over Easter. This was our first family camping trip with our two children (3yrs & 9yrs)
Booking process was excellent, Dawn made the whole process very easy for us.
Upon arrival, the weather was terrible and I was faced with the prospect of putting up a tent in very difficult conditions. Thankfully John (owner) was their to greet us and helped me to pitch the tent, he could not have been more friendly or helpful.
As this is our first camping experience I cannot compare facilities but all I can say is that we found everything to be excellent. Hot showers, clean toilets, convenient wash-up area and nice site lay-out.
We took the boys to Peppa Pig World and it was nice to walk there rather than take the car (simple 10 min walk with two children in tow.)
Campsite is also in a good location to visit various areas throughout the New Forest.

You could not hope for a friendlier welcome than at this well appointed and very thoughtfully operated site. The high quality toilet and shower blocks, and sink area, are well-cleaned daily. The attentive owner is often on hand for advice or assistance. All plots have power and own picnic table. Other helpful conveniences are provided, such as children's outdoor toys and use of a freezer for cool-box blocks.  The nearby Mortimer Arms is perfect for an evening meal, and Peppa Pig World is walkable. Bring suitable supplies as the nearest shopping area is a moderate drive afar. We will definitely return to this family-friendly site.

Fantastic site. I've never been anywhere with more attentive and lovely owners, they really went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
It's a lovely small site and is spotless and so well looked after. The field is lovely and flat and the pitches are good sizes. The toilets and showers are in trailers but are spotless and I was so impressed with the little touches such as tissues and cotton wool pads next to the mirror in the ladies.
There is a lovely undercover area for washing dishes as well as a freezer for your ice blocks.
They also rent out pretty much anything that you may have forgotten which is a godsend if like us, you forget your electric hook up cable!
It's a lovely back to basics site - we loved that there were no fancy kids play areas. Instead they've got loads of ride on toys and sports equipment for the kids to use and it was lovely seeing them all playing together and having fun.
The site is next to the motorway but to be honest, you don't really notice it as there's a huge embankment and lots of trees separating the road from the site anyway.
We'll definitely be back - we've never been to a nicer site!
