We were really impressed with this cafe. We came in for an early dinner after coming off the ferry before driving home. There's a good menu with some nice home comforts. Prices are brilliant and the staff were really friendly. Our food came fairly quickly and the portion sizes were great and the quality was much better than I expected. My fish pie was delicious with loads of fish. Had apple crumble with lashings of custard for dessert. Shame it closes at 6.
Incredibly slow service even when it was quiet; it took 40 minutes for our meals to arrive. The drinks machine was broken. The staff were rude. It was cold enough to wear a coat inside and to top it all, the food was still terrible. Now I've heard that Morrisons Cafe can be a bit hit or miss and we do return every 6-9 months, hoping that it's improved; well Totton is consistantly a miss and its had it's last chance.
Definitely will not be using again at 8.99 the ultimate breakfast was a good deal reasonable quality and a good amount of food for the price now it's 10 pounds for the exact same breakfast not worth it anymore also if you order online they cancel the orders if they can't be bothered to cook food sometimes don't even turn the online service on mediocre food extortionate prices and overall not a very good service 6-7/10 it's basically used to wait for your partner or who ever your with to get a coffee not really anything more very poor cafe poor service and over priced
Depends on the time of day visit to cafe is made. Early morning and lunchtime can be very busy. Good food at very reasonable prices. A good menu for food and snacks throughout the day. Afternoon tea from 3pm children can eat free, this offer is for one child per adult and the adult meal is over £4.50.
Do it all yourself. Order on a screen. Make your own drink. Can't use cash only pay by Card. Then sit at your table & wait for your food. Food ok but no staff.Food: 4/5
We ordered apple juice it tasted fizzy. Thought it was just fizzy apple juice but it tasted weird, turns out it was gone off. Food didn’t taste that good either
Wrong food sent to table and was told we had ordered that food even tho we was certain we hadn’t once food was corrected it comes out cold and then therwas no clean cutlery and food had gone even colder by the time cutlery had been washed rude staff and slow serviceFood: 1/5
Bad service Coffee machines broken down. Toilets undergoing maintenance. Asked for ham and cheese toastie been told to get a toast with cheese instead... They were supposed to open at 9:30 I arrived there at 9:45 to wait because they were not open... Almost froze inside of the building, it was so cold. Nothing to be happy with
Although I’ve been to this morissons a handful of times and loved the breakfast it’s always cooked very well. I have autism so I normally ask if they can take the mushrooms and tomato, off and add an extra sausage or a fried piece of bread because of my sensory needs And they never had a problem doing that for me but they said I needed to pay extra. I was very shocked to see the staff members give no support to their disabled customer And I’m not the best at social situations and when I went to pay I gave them the wrong amount and quickly gave them the correct amount and apologised and they gave me rude comment saying “it’s ok it’s because you can’t think straight” I felt so disrespected. I asked my dad to have a talk to them and the mannerisms of the manager came across very rude to. and she wanted to apologise by giving me pictures of a puppy. I thought it was a kind gesture although I felt humiliated because Im a full grown adult and I feel like she only did it because I have autism. I will strongly not recommend this place for the disabled community as I personally felt like I was being humiliated. And nearly had a panic attack because the way they handled this situation.
Been trying different places to get some grub before a shift, as the past year I've been working a Nightshift in the local area. Came in literally two seconds behind two other customers who where together. There is only the one big menu board at the entrance to the cafe so as this other couple was looking at the menu I waited my turn to view the menu. The cashier on the till clocked he had two different sets of customers. Took the order of the couple Infront of me. Then closed the till and ran off into a backroom somewhere whilst I was still looking at the menu. So I approached the till and after a few minutes, another customer already seated in the cafe tells me I have to " wolf whistle to get his attention" even though he just saw he had two different sets of customers. I guess me becoming the 4th customer in the entire cafe was too much pressure for this cashier At that point I had seen enough and left
