Came here last night; good food and atmosphere; excellent service; the waitresses were very friendly and helpful and the Chilean Merlot was brilliant!!
We had a lovely meal. The food was fresh and was very well prepared and cooked. The smoked salmon and crab salad however was lacking in crabmeat but was more than made up for with the quantity of salmon. The atmosphere in the room took a dip when charity collectors came in and stopped all conversation to ask for donations. Overall though a great place to eat with excellent food.
We've been meaning to dine at Paul's for some time now and now we finally have, we're kicking ourselves for all of the lost time. The food was incredible, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. 100% recommended, however be prepared to struggle when ordering; the menu reads so well, it leaves you wanting everything.
Our friends treated us to lunch somewhere we hadn’t been before and were anxious to make sure they catered for vegetarians as I am but they are not. They were advised to ask for the vegetarian menu. I had previously commented that, whilst everywhere offered at least one vegetarian option on their menu, vegetarians usually missed out on one of the delights of dining out - that of choosing from a mouth-watering menu. Well, not at Paul’s! With seven starters and nine mains to choose from, for once it was me who took longest to settle on my choices! The food when it came was excellent and well presented in generous portions. An excellent treat for us and thoroughly to be recommended - for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Vegetarian options: See main review! Excellent range of choices. Parking: Limited parking. Entrance is immediately after a sharp bend and easily missed.
Absolutely gorgeous meal with super friendly waiting staff. Three courses from the Christmas menu and each one was superb. Great experience. Thank you.

Fantastic friendly service and really lovely food. Starters around £8, mains £16-23, Desert around £7. Business has reduced the number of tables due to covid-19 and have deployed plenty of sanitising stations. Only downside, as we left there were loads of youths in the outside area who were not socially distancing and we had to walk through them to leave the premises.
Great meal for our Wedding Aniversary. Would have been 5* but for the table we had was near kitchen door so a bit noisey.
