Fairly good station, well staffed and clean plus a Costa and an interchange with the subway, and staffed ticket offices. Bus stances outside. There is a lot to do and see in Partick. It is a very cosmopolitan area just off the posh West End with loads of eateries, drinkeries is that actually a word? and shops. It is becoming rather gentrified but without the hyped-up costs of nearby Hyndland or Byres Road
One is the best place with linked different transport like trains, buses, undergraund in one area at the West End of Glasgow with some product supermarket nearly.
Partick Train Station has its advantages, but it is poorly managed in several key areas. On the positive side, its location is convenient, offering easy connections to the Glasgow Subway, as well as a bus station and taxi rank right outside.nnHowever, the station itself is severely lacking in amenities and efficiency. Unlike most modern stations, there are no automated ticket barriers. Instead, passengers often face a bottleneck, as four or five staff members manually check and scan tickets, making the process slow and frustrating. Given how common automated barriers are elsewhere, there’s no good reason why Partick shouldn’t have them.nnFor a station of its size and importance as a transport hub, the facilities are inadequate. There’s only one toilet, which is frequently out of order, and access requires asking a staff member. The station’s upkeep is also subpar, with mold growing on ceiling tiles, general cleanliness lacking, and escalators and lifts often breaking down, sometimes taking weeks to be repaired.
Partick is a nice area, clean and secure have interchang transport a lot of restaurants, cafe salon pubs, and bar
