Right next to the centre of Giffnock.
Lovely station but the other day a nasty man approached me, accusing me of allsorts! He claimed to be the husband of a station helper, so if this is true then I'd say that the conduct of staff and their relatives should definitely be improved. No complaints besides that!
Good train station, you can park and ride here. The only issue is that if you have a pram or wheelchair it's quite a distance to get from one platform to the other as there are only stairs and the walk is significant to get round.
Busy station in heart of Giffnock with wheelchair access from May Terrace if you are heading EK direction. Handy for Library, places to eat/drink, shops etc. Car Park at station toox
Only stopped here, so that I could suddenly change my travel route. Had just left East Kilbride and realised, that I had forgotten my umbrella, so alighted at Giffnock and returned to East Kilbride to reclaim my umbrella.
