Pros: it’s right beside a Wetherspoons and a chip shopnCons: the ticket office is rarely open, no step free access to platform 2
Brenda was super helpful and got me a cheaper ticket to Dundee. Staff are always very friendly.nnWish the station was open more often. Platform 2 only has stairs so is not an accessible train station. They could put a lift across to the other side like they have done at Hyndland and people could get across that way as platform 1 has a ramp.
A very convenient station for anyone in the Anniesland or Kelvindale areas, however there is only steep stepped access for the outbound platform, making it not at all suitable for anyone with mobility issues, push chairs etc, so if you are arriving from Glasgow Central or Queen Street be warned.
Fantastically large place-think aircraft hangar with a huge choice of quality vintage and retro furniture, and other antiques, at decent prices. Well worth a visit before you make your choice.
Great station located directly next to a wetherspoons The Esquire House and has great links to Milngavie and Glasgow Central .Also located next to a Morrisons ,Costa Coffee and many other shops like Greggs overall a great station.
