for many years id lost hope in Parkview. But thanks to Dr Mcgeary my faith has been restored, she is a great doctor and a doctor that listens and treats you with respect. highly recommend her for her professionalism and care.
I was a patient of Doctor Joe Hackett Coalisland RIP [a great Doctor & a super guy] when Doctor Hackett died in 2013 I moved to Parkview I am a patient of Doctor Garland, Doctor Garland will always give great care and will always have positive words to say, all of the nurses are very caring, when I phone reception everyone is very helpful, Parkview is a great Surgery, I feel lucky to be a patient
Wouldn give even one star awful staff abd doctors. This place should be checked by government and closed before more patients be ignored and left to day slow My life is broken because of no care and anderstading is given.
It's only a one star as can't give no stars. It's not fit to serve the local people or help in any way shape or form. Disgrace of a place and safer going to your local chemist to look after you
I am young adult with congenital heart defect. I also have a pacemaker. In June 2020 I went into Parkview GP Surgery Dungannon because I was feeling very unwell, spiking temperatures, fatigue, chills, body pain, headaches and what I have come to know as rigours continuous shaking of the entire body and spasms. I got my bloods done and was told they were fine and they could not done anything for me. My CRP marks were 58, which is considered anything high levels of CRP, greater than 50 mg/L, are associated with bacterial infections. This unwell feeling and rigours kept happening until I went to my cardiac consultation in October 2020. I was admitted into the Royal Victoria Hospital and stayed there for 10 weeks. For 4 months, since June, I had sepsis, at this point I was critically ill with sepsis, endocarditis, pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism. Cardiologist told me I should have been admitted in June by my GP Practice. My parents were told that I wasn’t going to make it through the night at a point because of my critical state. I have never been the same since, I can not lead a normal 20 year old life because of the horrendous incompetence and total lack of duty of care provided by Parkview GP Surgery Dungannon. Furthermore upon discharge from hospital I had many problems getting my vital heart medication, often I would be refused it by reception staff. I also had a nurse look at my medical notes without my permission and start to question me about it for her own personal gain. Parkview Surgery Dungannon is a disgrace to any good doctor in the NHS.
Dr Mullan ignores everything I say, unprofessional and being very cheeky through the phone. Saying my visit and examination would not change anything so everything is done through the phone with high ignorance. She gives antibiotics without examination and hopes it will help without ever seeing me and exanimating problem. Most of our family members had cancer and I told that but I was ignored. IGNORANTS
This surgery is a shambles.. went to see a doctor was put on tablets was told if they didn't help come back and they would refer me for a hospital test, tablets didn't help so rang back again and for the next 5/6 months maybe longer I was passed between doctors and nurses who kept putting me on different tablets that never helped, it was only when I requested the first doctor and told him what he said the first time I was finally referred for a hospital appointment but who knows how long that will be now after being passed around between nurses and doctors for months.. and just recently I was put on more tablets but when I rang the chemist to pick them up them tablets were off the market so my doctor had to find an alternative, I rang the doctor to get them ordered but for the next few days they never put the order through, I rang the surgery every day to get them ordered, and that's another thing the phone service is awful, you can never get through but anyway its now the weekend and I have to wait to Monday to see if the order will be put through then
Doctors are terrific and so are the nurses, although the receptionists have no notion atall. Simple tasks are made into a days work by the receptionist, even simple things such as parent and child in both to see nurse and get seen an hour and half apart. Im no scientist but my goodness yas needa pull your finger out ladies.
Prescription line doesn't work spend all day calling and never got a answer.. straight to fax machine or busy line... I know you are busy but is hard to believe that no one is allocated to prescription line...we have the resources but honestly improvements needed
If there would be chance of 0stars... They would get....
