After being so badly treated and somewhat neglected by Campbell Surgery for over 10 years read my review on their website it is refreshing to say the least to deal with all the staff at this practice. Firstly the reception staff are eager to help and support you. They do not try to diagnosis you. Appointments are well sorted and I have yet to be refused one. Campbell was a nightmare in comparison. Receptionists quizzing you and then a nurse who would determine if you were ill enough to see a doctor!! The phlebotomy nurse is ever so patient and understanding of those who have needle phobia. As for the doctors they are extremely approachable and I have the pleasure of mainly dealing with Dr Paisley. She is never condescending and takes care to go through the issues presented to her. Also very importantly you actually feel she has time for you. Far from you have 10mins and the stopwatch starts. All round this practice has been a life changer for me so thank you Northland......
I have been with this practice for 27 years since my son was born. It will be nine years since i was diagnosed with rare uncurable cancer. To be honest i have rarely botherred my doctor except for the last 6 months when my health took a serious downturn and i needed to see him much more freqiently as the list of growing medication. Thats when i discoverred that repeat scripts will not be issued for 2 days. New scripts issued by consultants in hospitals will simply be ignored and you are made to look like a bumbling idiot in front of other patients. The final straw was returning from Guys hospital after litlium theary last wednesday i started to develop a lot of pain and vast amounts of fluid in my legs and feet to the extent i could bearly walk. I started ringing the surgery at 8.30 monday morning made it into the queue at number 7 about 09:15 by 09:30 all appointments be they urgent and routine were all gone. I tried again on Tuesday morning same thing. In total dispair my husband rang Wed morning again no appoints deffinitely none with dr smyth for another couple of days as he has been on holidays you can imagine his surprise to pick up a script to see dr smyth standing behind the reception desk. Result i had to book with the endo clinic in the Royal to be able to get anything done. Whats happenning to our nhs
I dont leave many reviews for places but this place is a joke! Rude staff and unhelpful! Don't update website e.g opening times. So i had no idea the place closes for a half day on Tuesdays. They don't explain when signing up that you can only drop off forms between 2-4 on a friday. I've been trying to register to this surgery for a year and a half.
Was trying to get an apoitment because of sharp pain in my foot due to inflammation, they call me back and said that I have to go Minor injury unit to xray my foot because I have injury, I told them that I have no injury and this is not first time I have this pain in my foot and ask them to check history. They not even listen me and told me go there thats it.. in MIU they said its no point to xray your foot again and again and you have to be seen by specialist. Finally after negotiations got an apoitment with Drs GJ and have been left in shock,he was rude, not listen me at all and I has been left without any treatment.Never had so bad medical expirience...
bad doctors. they do not listen to what the patient says.
Needed a test done and got an appointment within an hour of phoning up.
Brilliant doctors highly recommend
Not good doctors.
