This is one of the best surgery practices I have ever been to. The receptionist staff, nurses and doctors are all so friendly and helpful. I have been with them for 12 years and I have never had one issue. They rang me for voice calls during covid for my asthma checks and also saw me as an emergency during covid. The staff worked Saturday's during covid and manned carparks to make sure we all had flu and covid jabs. Their repeat prescriptions are fantastic and always on time. The reception staff excell in their friendly phone and face manner. I could not ask for a better surgery. Well done Ardmore practice Dungannon
Cormac and all the staff do an unbelievable job considering the pressure they are under.I have been a patient of this practice since it more or less started.More recent years has seen me needing the Ardmore GP's more and they have never let me or any of my family down.
Worst GP surgery in Northern Ireland, i dont understand how doctors like this exists...useless in every way. EDIT :Today 17/10/22 one year since my last ardmore call, I tried calling them again with a stomach issue. Good luck getting through to them. I am getting a new GP early tomorrow, IF i get through to them.
Shockingly bad service. The voice message on main number is designed to put people off calling, as would deter elderly, vulnerable people from trying to get to speak to anyone. The voicemail lists numbers for different services and then hang up. On calling one of the numbers I had to redial 16 times to get an answer and then was told false information about the covid vaccine rollout to get me off the phone. When I insisted on speaking to practice manager they also admitted to misleading g me about the covid vaccine rollout. They are now going to write to over 80’s to make an appointment by getting them to call on the same number you cannot get through on!!! Why can they not divide the list among the staff and call the patients like the other practices do in the area. They are very unhelpful and not focused on patient need at all. I appreciate they are all very busy during this time but it has always been difficult to get through to them.
I've made requests for appointments call backs during corona not even passed along leaving me waiting all day for nothing then calling back and when finally getting a Doctor simply being treated in a dismissive manner with a blunt shrift and somewhat demeaning tone. Half way through the call I was hung up on so another call could be taken. Was told it was an accidental cut off and they were meant to cut off the other caller but took them 5+ mins to ring back.. THEN during the consultation they took another call even if only for a couple of seconds, leaving me feeling not only all the above but not even properly listened to. Having moved around a lot in life this is one of two doctors surgeries that just seem to never offer a quality service. They get medications wrong, often missing out parts of my script meaning more running about and when an increase was needed even after 3rd party medical staff trying to get the message across they STILL didn't increase the medication. I ask for scans to try and work out the issue and am told to go get it done privately. I say I don't want to be relying on meds that are becoming ineffective hence reason for asking for scans and am told not to rely on medication and to stop taking what I am if it's doing nothing with no alternate offered.. Tell me to do stretching exercises which I tell them I already do and to try yoga which I also attempt, none of which makes a difference.. suppose I'm just meant to live in pain rather than be assisted via referrals to specialists or given some scans. I'm now reaching 2+ years of the same pain, slowly covering more areas yet they tell me to do yoga and go to a private physio rather than be referred. I also requested information and it took them months to get it organised, way longer than is quoted as being a reasonable timeframe by at least double the wait period to the point by the time I got the info it was no longer needed. This practice is a complete and utter joke. Avoid if possible. I hope to change surgeries soon as chance permits as rarely have I been left shaking with anger and anxiety after being dismissed by a doctor in such a fashion and having such a hard time getting even the basic service expected.
Worst surgery i had. Doctors are suppose to be for help and i had no help whatsoever, going there so many times for appointments and open access. Im pregnant with bad back pain and my work place is constant lifting, ive been told by my hospital consultant, by my work and by a lady in community advice that my GP needs to give me a fit note and i could never get one i was simply told to change my job and i will not get a fit note, while still explaining i was told that he has got no time and many patients and he stood up to open the door for me to leave. Ridiculous! Also doctor came to work 15 minutes late..
Iv been with this practice for as long as I can remember, and recently have had a terrible experience with them. To actually speak to my doctor i have to call them between 9am and 1pm supposedly. I called at 1:10pm in agony and all they could do is tell me that I call tomorrow between those times. Absolutely ridiculous. Feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with this medical practice heard only negative things about it in the past few years.
Unfortunately this practice is the epitome of whats wrong with the system. People are not numbers or 'policy' a simple return phone call would have sufficed. Instead a stand off between myself an receptionist ensued because why? Policy ? Had i have waited with my in pain mother at home id still be there. My mother is registered here ,thankfully im not, an if i can get mum registered somewhere, anywhere else i will. All this resulted in 14 hr wait in a&e craigavon. There has to be a better way an definitely more amenable caring front of house staff. Keep eye on local papers Twitter etc this is not the end ..... fibs were told and will be found out... .
Unfortunately the worst ever ! Nothing to do with receptionist or other doctors but particularly one doctor my gp been very rude from the start told me not to call him anymore just because was looking an advice about my medication didn't let me talk and explain everything thought maybe because I'm from different country or something like that but can see a lot of people has the same problem .
Absolutely ridiculous surgery. The Doctor's refuse to send medical reports for clients even after being paid. The Doctor's refuse to call client's back. The receptionists are less than helpful. Avoid.
