Was there in hotel for 4 nights.

- Lady was not at all welcoming 
- No cleaning of the rooms
- Promised me and charged me for En-Suite but didn't get one
- 3rd night gave me En-Suite, but heating was too high and there were no controls to reduce the heating. Couldn't sleep for 2 nights properly.
- I found other accomodation from the week after.....

I stayed at this lodge on the night of 12 Dec 09. I wanted a cheap B&B as a place to stay before watching a Liverpool football match.

The cost was £35 for single room.

When I got there I had to call a mobile number in order to get one of the staff to open up and check you in.

The staff were very friendly and very helpfull.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Some rooms do not have ensuite and have to share the shower room, but this did not degrade the stay at all.

Breakfast in the morning was lovely.

Parking was offroad in front of the guest house.

It was very close to local amenities i.e. train station, bus stop and bars/shops. By close I mean less than 5 mins walk.

I would recommend this guest house to anyone.
