Lovely foyer and bar area. Obviously still going under refurbishment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was newly decorated with fresh wallpaper and carpet.  However, it was cold and with the heating controls under a small flap of wood it was impossible to adjust.  The room was also VERY dark with no overhead lighting, and bedside lights only controlled from one side of the bed.  The large fitted wardrobe is on the side of the window, so once the wardrobe door is opened it is impossible to see inside!  The dresser unit seem too large for the room not leaving a lot of space to walk pass the end of the bed.  Apart from the tap in the bath continually dripping the bathroom was lovely.(this was reported on our departure).  Breakfast cooked fresh, and to order. Overall a pleasant stay and would use again if in the area.

The venue had been hired by the organisation I work for our Managers' Development Day. The room was a good size and the tables were arranged sensibly, with adequate space between the tables and consideration given to line of sight. Tea and coffee were provided at several points throughout the day and Keith was on-hand to help out at these times. A good selection of biscuits was on offer and the tables each had glasses and water jugs which were replenished throughout the day. The chairs were comfortable and the toilets were close by. The venue had an executive feel to it and I enjoyed my visit.

The hotel is spacious and well designed, with brilliant staff and lovely food. Perfect venue for a wedding. Hope to be shooting more weddings here soon.

Rooms are bit small and not well lit..but clean and comfy...location is far from city centre. Parking  facilities  available. Good food.

Very good, has recently been refurbished and looks very nice and comfortable inside. Customer service is excellent.
