This surgery has gone down the drain since covid happened. When we joined 5 years ago the service was excellent. I remember phoning them for an urgent appointment at 5.30pm was given an appointment for 6.15pm. I also rung up for my mum once at 4.30pm got an appointment for 6.00pm and that was 5 years ago. Nowadays when you ring they'll say they don't have any appointments left and to ring next day at 8. So when you ring next day at 8 they put you on hold for almost an hour and say appointments have gone, shame really cos it used to be a very good surgery with excellent service. I remember recommending so many people in the past, never again though
Spoken to two different different receptionist’s and both have been shocking. Why is it that all receptionist’s at G.P. Have no idea on how to speak to people!!!!! The latest one I spoke to was called Laura, absolutely disgusting! Directed me to order my prescription through the app and even though it doesn’t work they are unwilling to help.
Dr Maudsley has provided exceptional care for my step father. The surgery has been very responsive and caring. Would recommend!
In 49 years of being with this practice never had a problem with Doctors or Reception. Maybe they speak to people how they are spoken to. Good on them.
Bad Reception Service. They are always busy and you are lucky enough if they will pick up your call after 30 minuets or 1 hour! Then some of them are very rude towards patients, they don't even listen and most of the time i need to talk loudly to make sure they listen my request. And today, wao...they don't have even the register to check our appointments. I am going to complain because this is enough.
Never had a problem with the staff here. The doctors and nurses are all good, and the receptionists are friendly and helpful. I find that if I treat them with kindness and respect, I receive the same treatment in return.
Park side receptionist are appalling they never answer the phone i have been calling all day no answer and its not the first time iv experienced this!! If they that busy they should recruit more staffs or they shouldn't be taking on to much patients.
Receptionist very rude think her name is donna based on other reviews, needs to learn some manners if shes gonna be in a patient facing job. Its people like her who give the GP receptionists a bad name - went for my 1st Appt today so didnt say anything but next time I will say something if her attitude is the same. If she cant hear patients properly then maybe this isnt the best job for her. My midwife was very proffesional and caring though - so il give 3 stars. Would have been 1 based on the one receptionist. Feel like sometimes doctors don't take you seriously. I'm just not being listened to just being told that I'm overthinking and to stop googling. Some of the reception staff are rude on the phone I asked when I was going to hear back from the doctor as I was told Tuesday to be told "I don't know with how things are going at the moment" ... I have swollen lymph nodes in my armpit and they are telling me to wait 6 weeks before coming back which i know isnt right as I've spoke to 111. Just feel let down and very worried aabout my health and helpless
Dr's and nurses I find are are very good, understanding and listen well and provide excellent care and support. The receptionist staff are beyond rude, vile and one in particular has reduced me to tears before today because she was so nasty. Also rung for an appointment and got told that she couldn't make me one if I wouldn't tell her why I needed one, can I ask, are the receptionist triage trained? Are they using an agreed streaming process? If so then great and well done, however given the conversation I had with the reception team I highly doubt it. She insisted I explained to her what was wrong even though I said I didn't want to as it was personal. After I finally explained she arranged an appointment for that day, that apparently previously wasn't available when I wouldn't tell her what was wrong. What a shame the receptionist team let down such an excellent NHS service.
