Been with this surgery since I was a child. My own children are now registered here as well. Can always get through to speak to someone without waiting in a queue for ages and can always get an appointment quickly. The Dr's have changed over the years but still a great team. So grateful to be with a fantastic surgery. My husband is registered with a different surgery, one of the newer big super surgeries and its terrible. Those leaving bad reviews on here should try one of those!

Personally I think it's gone downhill.. I'm never kept informed about anything, prescriptions stopped without notice. Every obstacle put in place so you can't get an appointment. I'm at a complete loss. Tried complaining to the practice manager only to be told I don't need to see the Dr. I don't see why she has to be the intermediatary just let the patient see the Dr.
Excellent surgery. Can always get through on the phone and appointments are easy to book. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful.
Just seems to get worse here ever since the philips retired, allround bad attitude from staff and doctors ring you up when it suits them not you i even put a complaint in about a doctors attitude towards me but heard nothing more about it, no late night surgery bad place would not recomend to anyone, look elsewere coz this place has seriously gone down hill,
I phoned up this morning and asked for an appointment the lady at the reception said iam struggling with appointments today try tomorrow 8 I said to her iv been ringing since morning she oh it's been quite today for Tuesday morning so why is there no appointments left I cant understand this surgery since dr Phillips has left its not the same
We transferred here from a Surgery not far from this one...we absolutely love it here. .the reception staff are lovely. .Dr's ..nurse's & assistants are great...medication is ordered & delivered sometimes on the same day .brilliant for my husband whose had 17 heart procedures. .the other surgery quite often left him without his Meds. ..we are so glad they let us join the practice. .
I've Never had any problems with Brownhill Surgery. From reception onwards always an excellent service.
Had too many visits last few years so in an unfortunate position to be able to give an accurate review. Read a previous review saying reception staff have a bad attitude which I totally disagree with as I have always found them friendly and accommodating. Never had to wait longer than 2 days for an appointment, all my appointments have been non urgent and sure I would have got earlier had it been urgent. Doctors and nurses seem to do their job well and I have always been satisfied with the advice / treatment received. Never good having to go to the doctors but I like the fact that it is a small practice, carpeted floor etc, small point but hope it can stay that way
The doctors are pretty good however the attitude of the reception staff specifically a lady named Susan is absolutely disgusting. She is unwilling to provide any advice about booking appointments. is extremely rude and unprofessional and hangs up on people when they ask questions she cant answer, this has been a regular occurrence for a year now. Absolutely shocking and I will be leaving this surgery and advising everyone I can to find an alternative... Today i am now forced to drag my 2 yesr old to A&E because she refuses to book an appointment for a late night surgery and apparently nobody will be Will it to see us till next Monday!!!!..........There are several other doctor's in the local area all with nice receptionists
